Woah, that looks super pretty.
But don't you have to draw a lot of different animations for every single item now, because weapons can obviously have different animations you would have to animate every single armour piece?

For me it seems too bright compared to the game itself and the moonman doesn't stand out at all, the first thing I notice is the snail.

Hello!

I have had dreams about making a game which I could play with my brother or sister since I was a child, but I never had skills or anything to actually do that. Some years ago I ended up looking for ways to make a game until I found Game Maker and I started playing around with it creating simple and fun games for us which we could play together.

Within a few years I made 2 games which grew to be roots for 2Volution (previously called Duaalsus) and where this idea came from. Unfortunately I lost all of my games because of hard disk corruption and after that I stopped making them for a year or two until I finally got a new computer.
I started again with the third sequel to my game but i was still too unexperienced to make my ideas come true and so started learning phase, after a few months I finally got around to making the current iteration of 2Volution. Around 6 months into development I decided to show it off on Tigsource, so here I am.  Smiley

Description
2Volution is a game where you get to play together with a friend, doing everything together as a team. Gameplay will mostly be about collecting resources, making weapons out of them and then fighting against enemies in strategical battles where you could find camps full of goblins who group up to attack you and boss fights, which may require both of you involved in every action each of you will do. You may get raided by monsters at night in certain areas and you need to build bases and different type of contraptions to protect yourself.

Ideas

Inventory & Crafting Engine 75% completed
Both players have their individual inventories which other player can access also if it is open by placing/taking items into the inventory or crafting spot.


Task System 25% completed
I'm working on a task system which is a 'guide' for players about what to do next, some tasks will give unique rewards such as experience and weapons which you can only get from that task.
Some tasks may give one weapon so one of the players will receive it.


Smart NPC-s Just Started
I have played a lot of games and i just can't find a game which would have interesting and smart NPC-s who would have characteristics , would be groupped up and just smart. So I'm planning to make smart enemies who would go into groups , make strategical attacks and every invidual NPC would have their own characteristics so they can get mad very easily and just attack you , or they can be really shy and try to keep away from you and all sort of things like that.
