some pictures to bring life in here

my first mockup when i thought of making one part kinda 3d, more like 2.5d (with oculus rift support XD). but for now i will try to animate this and make it the menu background



and some earlier sketches i have on pc

these pictures are not very related to another since i said the idea is simmering now for a long period and different branches grew. hopefully thats not too much confusion in the beginning :D

The sideways walk anim looks approx 200x better than the others. You need some horizontal movement in the limbs in those.

play is pretty fun, like it. sometimes i got stuck and had to mess the bigblade to find an exit because they go through the walls and the hold of the knives dissappears in the wall. also i got kinda stuck when the walls became tight so there was suddenly a lot of rumbling. but after jumping a few times i came out of it.

that was what i discovered so far but like said its huge fun to throw that blades and this holding w float is pretty nice too

Jep you're right. I didn't want to degrade unity if its what it sound like. maybe its my lack of knowledge on that topic that make me look like something like this. also i didn't know you can just drop the ui, what language you use then? has it an own "language" or is it c#? i've heard you can input like c# or was it c++?

anyway i think it matches to me to begin to understand that low level stuff first since i'm interested in the materia and not rapid game development. also i love to get my garlic chopped by a knife :>

Thanks again for the advices!
Right now i'm trying to concentrate more on as3 with fp and this makes fun, so i guess i keep on it for a while. some gamedevs here in town gave me the advice to go for unity cause i would have the chance to learn some basic programming along with its use. and the most dont use unity because of the expensive license that i already have because of this gamejam.

but for now i'm not so interested in a helping ui like unity (or how i understand it through some tutorials) and since i've already startet in as3..j i think for now i found my path (:

yay, this sounds pretty nice to me. very atmospheric and it produces directly images in my head of some zany trash-spirits that going to become alive and begin dancing. maybe some pre-boss crowd? ^^
