I'm not a dev but I compose music and make sound design for games and films. On the side I've also started learning JavaScript to upgrade my website more and make it more responsive, hopefully somewhere this year.

I have a daily routine where I do a set of pushups, pullups and crunches. Very simple stuff but it gets the blood flowing. Afterwards I do some stretches and I also walk and/or cycle regularly. Tomorrow I'm actually going to incorporate another exercise to my routine, jump rope with intermittent exercises like pushups and crunches. I'll start with 10min, if I can even get that far for at least a few weeks and build it up from there.

Cheers,
Sid

Hi MSilver,

Thanks! Yes, tweet away! This is a nice side project for me next to my regular work composing music. Hope to make more videos about these old vintage consoles and pc systems. Smiley

Thanks again!

Cheers,
Sid

Thanks, agersant!

Superb Joe, this is the only way I know how to fix it. If you know a better way of dealing with those lines I'd really love to hear it!

Hi all,

Wanted to share with you a video I did for my channel "Sid's Retro Corner", where I mod my Gameboy DMG with a backlight+bivert and fixing horizontal/vertical lines, for the first time! Was challening but a lot of fun! Hope you like it. :-)

hey, sorry for not updating for so long.
Really appreciate the encouraging words coming from you.
I agree on what you guys are saying, except that I never said I was looking for hype or something, I know that can't exist at such an early stage.  What I was doing is testing 2 different ideas I had and trying to pick one that seems more interesting to people. And I did.
(you could say pick the one you like and don't look at what people want,  but I loved both ideas equally)

Had to take make some hard decisions in my life (not project related) and have been super busy lately.

Regarding this project - I feel like at this time I am not ready to invest my next 1 or 1.5 years into this. And I'll go with my gut.
I love it, I have made a decent amount of work on it, but I don't feel like I'm ready. I am 100% sure I will comeback to it and finish it sometime in the future  (when I'm a bit more ''mature'' for it.) For now - I'll put in on the shelf.

Now, I'll be solving some personal stuff and will come back here with a screenshot from the ''new'' game, which is actually pretty old.

 Thank you.

Happy New Year and all the best wishes for 2019! All the best wishes with solving your personal stuff and best of luck with this and future projects!
