I love the art and the overall presentation of the game. I was also not able to get past the crow part... when I switched, I just got the others killed Cry

Your comic looks incredible, too!

...PLEASE tell me how to find the others with Mr.Bear... I followed the crow for half an hour.

Ran fine, chrome on a Dell L502x 4gb graphics and an i5... The game is pretty fun!

The frame of reference for the bullets is way too hard to see... It would be much sweeter with crosshairs or  full lighting.

First off, I absolutely LOVE the concept animation you did for this! I was a bit chaotic and had no sound, but it had such color, scale and character that it would make an excellent movie on it's own. Beautiful backgrounds, amazing designs and your characters are expressive and interesting...

I love the idea you have for the game, but I think you should make the character larger with more animations, a bit tighter on the action... that would be amazing. I know this is not what you want to hear, but I LOVE your character designs and the rich, lush environments in the video. I know it's tough, but your game is a racer, not a platformer, right? If you scale in a bit, it would be faster paced and a ton more interesting.

But however you decide to make it, I can't wait to see your progress!

Oh man, this is an ambitious project! So much work... I would love to see this game come into being. Beautiful assets and a well-defined overall concept. How much work remains? How large is your team?

This is some massively brilliant artwork! I am VERY excited to play this one.

Seriously, it's in my top ten... right before Hyper Light Drifter. Not even kidding!

I am the biggest fan of the tiny selection of side-scrolling mech action games, especially Metal Warriors and Front Mission Gun Hazard.

I wish this one mad success!

Oh, man! This was a thrill to play... excellent lighting and materials, absolutely genius sound effects and post-process work!

The gameplay is quite good, better than a lot of FPS... The only trouble I had was the lack of feedback when I shot a monster. The arms are placed just right - I would suggest having the right arm come from the right instead of center on aiming... feels a bit unnatural. I really like the animations and the feeling of weight to the gun.

The idea of a procedural mansion is a bit strange at first, but it's really interesting. I played over and over just to see the variety. I understand it's not done, but I was very confused about the goal of the game and the story behind the mansion itself. (This did make me want to explore further, though.)

Please keep the FOV shift and near-death effects, it made me manic and vulnerable... that feels perfect in a game like this!

Overall, I can't wait to see more enemies and more animations and feedback states!

Wow those sound effects were awesome!

This game is really well done and I will definitely check out any further iterations.

Love the art! (and the prospects of candy) There is a nice color palette in these scenes... good animations, too.

OH MAN! I got to play an earlier build... your game escaped my radar for a while. This is a really twisted and fun concept with great great art!

The game looks fun and really well done! Our current project is a pirate game too, so I might be a little biased, lol. The art is really great and the tiny characters promote the large scale of the levels. Good colors and I like the animations so far... I'll be watching this one.

Hello from Minion Studios!

We are a small dev team out of Casper Wyoming that is dedicated to making games we really want to play! Currently, we developing in Unity, but have experience in UDK, Flash and XNA. Couple of programmers and an artist.

Skurvy is our project at present, there should be a TIG Dev entry soon, catch it at Minion Studios or IndieDB!

We have participated in a few Game Jams, currently all are up on the Minion Studios' GameJolt:

Minimalist Horror Story was our entry in Ludum Dare 26 - we are proud of being ranked 7th place in atmosphere!

Ten Seconds of Night was our entry in Ludum Dare 27, a game about preventing yourself from killing your village - because you are a werewolf. We didn't finish the mechanics in time, but it's still playable.

Brass Bastards was our submission for Indie Speed Run last year, but wasn't built very stable for the competition... it's an FPS with a wrench, giant brass robots and an oven mitt.

We love everything about TIGSource and are very excited to be up on the forums as a Developer!

Minion Studios presents:
Skurvy

Skurvy is a stylized FPS dungeon crawler and arena shooter in a macabre world of Undead Pirates. You play as Skurvy, a first mate without a ship and trapped in the underworld. With a variety of strange weapons and enemies, this tale of drifting action and surreal horror will have you desperately hording gold doubloons and fighting back death with every step into temples, colonial forts, desert islands, huge pirate ships and other twisted, larger than life environments!

We're developing in Unity 4 using RAIN for the AI. Most of the modelling is being done in 3DS MAX.

We plan get an alpha build up by May or June 2014.
