Slowly, the morning light covers the residential district of THE UNDERGROUND (The THE has to be there, by the way.) One by one, all the villagers slowly make their way out of their houses. A quick role-call is had, and Xion and december are found missing! The crew split up and make their respective ways towards each house

The crew assigned to Xion meet with a grisly sight. Xion is under the covers of his bed, the surrounding area splattered with blood. One villager draws the blanket back, and it is immediately observed that his heart had been ripped straight out, and most of his flesh devoured, except for his face. On it is an expression of utmost agony and horror. Unfortunately, it appears as if he was a Human.

The crew assigned to december, on the other hand, find the titular owner of the house slumped in a chair with several bullets in him. He was also a Human.

Several hours later, after holding a church service and burying the corpses(the latter was done immediately, with them being tossed down the death-pit) everyone soon gathers in the town square again.

((All right, everybody, get to work!))

Yep, it was me. Sorry for confusing ya, guys. When you're a ghost, it's kinda hard to
keep yourself entertained, and since you can have some awesome powers if you get lucky... I've taken on the role o' unofficial executioner, because I'm bored as all hell and want to nail the bastard who did me in. Zaphos wasn't it, unfortunately, but I'm still happy for you guys.
163  Player / General / Re: TIGSource PnP Games Night? on: June 23, 2008, 05:27:16 PM
Ah, OpenRPG. I had great fun when Sappho (DF forums) hosted a DF-themed GURPS game. At least, I think it was GURPS.
164  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Tiebreaker!] on: June 22, 2008, 05:14:56 PM
"All right, then. Here comes the night, friends!"

Suddenly, all the lanterns are extinguished, and a scream is heard from Zaphos's general direction. When the lanterns slowly flicker back on, Zaphos is lying collapsed on the ground with a huge cut in his back. But what's this? He moves to crawl away, but someone in the crowd hurls an expertly-aimed stone at him, crushing his head in.

Hm, what's this? Fur is beginning to spread across his skin!

Zaphos was a werewolf!

The villagers, convinced that the threat had been dealt with, head up outside and stumble through the darkness to their homes, each going to sleep with an everpresent dread in their hearts.

The ghost of Xotes appears in the town square after everybody had left, and absently scratches the back of his head (which now has skin. And hair.)

"Well... Another one bites the dust, eh?"

((Specials, PM me with what you want to do!))

Nightfall has come, and there is a TIEBREAKER!!! between Zaphos and Shinygerbil.

This shall be resolved NOW! Everyone can vote again, but only between these two, and the accused cannot vote. GET TO WORK!
166  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day 1] on: June 21, 2008, 07:41:18 PM
Hey, guys. As there's currently a tie between Zaphos and Shinygerbil, I think I can persuade the powers that be to wait a little longer before nightfall. Once everybody's voted, you'll know what to do.
167  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day 1] on: June 20, 2008, 08:06:32 PM
It is starting to grow dark, friends. I'll keep holding the night off until I can't delay it any longer, okay? Get to voting, all five or six of ya who haven't!
168  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day 1] on: June 19, 2008, 05:56:13 PM
@TeamQuiggan: When everybody has voted, of course. Excuse my previous appearance. Getting killed tends to make me sound like a hick.
169  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Day 1] on: June 19, 2008, 05:15:26 PM
A voice booms from beyond the grave.

"You young'ns don't need the votes ta be in blue, dagget nabbet!  They can just be in
reg'lar bold! Also, yes, I kept an AK with me! I loved that baby... Too bad it wasn't enough to get them damn wolves!"

The voice fades away, muttering about wolves and machine guns.

Sometime, somewhere, in an undisclosed area in Europe, The Underground exists, so named because most of its infrastructure is (quite literally) underground. Only the housing area is up top, a development move sure to bring more than a little woe to the inhabitants of the wretched place. One day, the local mayor Xotes called for a meeting on top of a building. It's a very nondescript building, which is why it's being used today. Anyway, above all the clamor of the whole 'There's an important meeting for today' crap, Xotes claps his hands, causing gigantic shockwaves and more than a few falling boulders from the sky. With everything silent, he clears his throat and hrms.

"Well, my fine citizens, it has recently come to my attention that a scourge of werewolves has been spreading across [insert country name here], and I am rightly worried. I've survived a fairly large amount of encounters with them, and I am... well, paranoid, that they may pay a visit to our little town. I can't really give much advice except for you to have guns at the ready and to board any entrances into you homes shut. Well, that is all, my friends. Go forth and do... whatever it is you do."

With that over and done with, he motions towards the stairway on the side of the building and is the first to go down. Later, at night, all is quiet, until the sound of gunshots from Xotes' manor fill the air, followed by a horrendous scream. All the villagers gather, (complete with torches and pitchforks), and charge into the manor. After some exploration, they stumble upon Xotes' room. Contained within, besides all the bullet-holes in the walls and a smoking AK-47 next to him, was the titular mayor slumped on the ground with an absolutely massive amount of blood splattered on him, his bed, the walls, and various other things. Upon stepping about a foot closer to him, it is immediately discovered that he is basically a skeleton, all flesh having been ripped off, devoured and otherwise disposed of. This naturally throws the mob into a frenzy, and it is quickly decided that death by voting is to ensue. Well, once morning comes, anyway.

When morning DOES come, everyone gathers in the (underground) village square, illuminated solely by several lanterns. Also there is a completely unexplained deathpit, there only because Xotes had thought it would add some flavor to the place. And now, dear readers, the voting begins...

((Anyone who didn't get a PM is a regular villager, and with that, we're off!))

Well, I could start the game now, or when we have 4 more volunteers. Anyone for or against, tell me now.
172  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Signups!] on: June 16, 2008, 07:34:44 PM
Nearly, being the operative term, my friend.

So, we still need a couple more signups! Come one, come all! There's a 66% chance of not getting brutally murdered!  Tongue
173  Player / General / Re: TIGSTWG VI: Aftermath [Signups!] on: June 16, 2008, 01:46:17 PM
To: Xion.

I am sorry, but you request has been summarily denied. Did I not say BOLD BLUE? If you want in now, you have to sign these forms obligating one favor to me. Or, in the illustrious words of Marlon Brando...

"Someday, and that day may never come, I will call upon you to do for me a service. Until then, remember that if anything happens to me your reputation will go down the drain in the blink of an eye."

That doesn't correspond with werewolfy doom, of course.

EDIT: And then I notice the period is BOLD BLUE. Yer in!

I must say, I enjoyed this game. Alas, Lazer, you were unable to join us in our final day of Annabelle killing.

I loved the end of game events, though.  :D

When your main character jumps on a meteor, rides it down to crush his enemies while laughing manaically, and when the animation is over there's not even a scratch on the battlefield.

I STILL LOVE IT.
