I am proud to say I set that high score on Wyvern without understanding what was happening and even managed to type in the high score name without noticing it was asking for one.

A speed increase is nice, but... other than that?
'Package of sounds and graphics etc etc'.... oh boy. Hearkens back to the days of mocking n00bs for using the RTP graphics in RPGM2K. A whole new class of elitism.

It would be neat but I don't think anyone made any assets like that. (Though he could probably make one at runtime)

TETROIDVANIA:
A 'Puzzle Quest' like game where, instead of making RPG characters fight by matching stuff, you make a small character explore an endless forking space castle dungeon and different combos make different events happen to them.
SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THIS ARGGHRGRHGKGLLGLL

Put in for my beta key, this looks groovy.
EDIT: Okay. Pretty fun, pretty cool, hectic and crazy. Didn't quite understand where some of my boost was coming from. Could do with a simple set of help screens/tutorial/etc. Also, I was unlocking achievements but there is no achievement record screen, so... yeah.

Two reasons.
1 - I already have other projects on the go, and am not setting them all aside to do this. It's not wasting my time or anything of the sort.
2 - It's barely a fangame. New logos, new design, new setting, new characters, new gameplay concepts. Now it's really just an elaborately customizable roguelike with a similar game structure to the original, which is a structure that so beautifully fits the concept of a roguelike, but isn't yet.
