Greetings everyone!

I am happy to announce that I have inked an endorsement deal with Steinberg, the creators of programs like Cubase, Nuendo and such.

Steinberg, through my Maegi project, will be helping me to create better stuff.

You can check Maegi at www.themaegi.com and www.facebook.com/maegimusic

Maegi, a power metal project, features important singers and artists like Zak Stevens (Savatage, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Circle II Circle), Jerry Outlaw (Jon Oliva's Pain) and several more, TBA in the upcoming weeks.

Cheers!

3  Developer / Business / Re: What is a fair price to demand as a Indie Soundtrack Composer/Freelancer? on: April 10, 2012, 04:17:18 AM
Per minute prices usually apply for more established composers and for agencies. Composers can also go for per track prices, depending on the project. There are also bundle agreements. Like if the price of a composer is 100 USD per track and you want to have him/her compose 25 tracks, but have 1700 USD as budget, almost no composer within that price range would say no.

Especially nowadays, since the market is flooded with composers and such.

When you want to work with uber famous names like Inon Zur, Zimmer etc, the prices are usually around 1.000 USD / minute which includes the agency fee, which varies from 20 % to 50 %.

8  Developer / Business / Re: Work Permits and Visas for UK on: November 16, 2011, 11:51:44 AM
Well, my ex-girlfriend had a position opening for her at a food processing company. She had all her papers etc. The company wanted her to work there but her visa got rejected. At the time, rather than the points system, the reason given to her was that there were too many applicants for work permit in UK.

UK is one of the Top 5 countries that has huge immigration problems. So, they are quite edgy about applications. I don't know your experiences of course, but almost all countries are a bit edgy whenever some outsider comes and applies for such things. Best to keep hope and keep on pushing.
9  Developer / Business / Re: Work Permits and Visas for UK on: November 15, 2011, 04:41:51 AM
Work permits for UK is terribly hard to get, that may be the reason as well. I know people waiting for a year to get an answer for their application, only to get rejected in the end. Not to demoralize you, but you should also check for other options like Canada etc.

I am so terribly sorry for not updating this topic for a while. I am working on my band's new production as the engineer and it takes some time.

I will be able to post a music video as well as the final production sometime in October, after the album comes from mastering.

So, this is a new CV update without a sample, my apologies

Dreamtone - New Maxi Single (Title TBA)
Credits: Composer, Singer, Orchestration, Recording Engineer, Mixing Engineer

Cheers.

Oh and I am available for soundtrack works again.

Greetings all;

I now have an Audiojungle profile where you can find tracks that I have composed but have not been used on any project to get for your needs. Please note that these tracks that I am uploading (and will upload in the future) are EXCLUSIVE to Audiojungle.

This means, you can go and listen to them and if you like, use them over your projects. They are open to purchase for everyone (and for exclusive purchase for one buyer only) with reasonably good prices.

Also, I will announce a new game soundtrack project soon at www.oganalp.com , keep an eye for updates =)

There is a new design for www.oganalp.com now, where you can have a better control over mp3 player as well as blog links and all.

Also added a new track from Illarion OST. A Tavern theme.

Enjoy!
