Thank you MereMonkey for your feedback! I'm adding those points to my TODO list I kind of realize that those things need to be fixed but it's always super helpful to hear that info from others. And oh yes, sfx layer is barely existing at this point... so as my skills in FruityLoops . But I realize that this particular game may hold some promise later on to benefit greatly from some proper sound design & maybe little auditory storytelling

Hi, I call this project "Hold Your Positions!". It's something borderline tower defense (I guess). How to play this test level: 1. Build defense/ambush line spending supply points 2. Click "Keep Your Positions!" when defense is ready 3. Observe and help your guys win/lose using <Take Control> ui button (direct control over unit) Controls: WASD QE - camera control mouse left/right buttons - fire control (when in direct control mode) Debug controls: space - 'bullet time' <> - time control Any ideas, c&c are welcome. Thanks for stopping by!

Hi. I submitted bugreport (game breaking one). Look into your SmoothFollow.updateCameraPosition() method. I bet you just forgot to fill some fields in inspector.

"Rubber & Lead" +1 "Heavens Below" sounds ok, but you may want to change that illustration with girl on a pink phallic thing to something else What do you think about "Keep Your Positions!"? I'm not a native english speaker and I'm concerned about it's proper english-ness It supposed to be for kind of tower defense game hence "Keep Your Positions!" (something probably to be vocalized as shout at start). What do you think? Yay or Nay? Edit: Thank you guys for your feedback!

Framerate was optimal. On my pc (intel core2 2ghz, 4gb ram, win 8.1 64, gtx 275) Skyw0r runs super smooth.
Playing today I noticed that edurium seems to be very hard to replenish. You may want to look into that sir (maybe player can mine it? destroyed ships would drop it?). And while missions seems to give you coordinates it could be probably reasonable not to expect that player will remember that numbers and give him some indicators on the main map where which destinations are.

You were right Davido - exception in DEP was needed.
Skyw0r really reminds me C64-era games - for good and some bad (it's hard to figure out what i'm suppose to do, what is what and lacks human characters/portraits to help storytell). I really like it's very distinctive visuals and sound concept, it's like Elite meets Hotline Miami! :D. Imho if you add more good stuff from nowadays games like visual storytelling clues ("you're being attack by triangles" vs "you're being attacked by xeno-repilian-fungi-pirate who wants to eat your heart") and more smooth learning curve this has potential to be awesome!

Hi Mya, My subjective observation is that blocking / defensive approach probably isn't working right now; makes me lose while constant offensive scores one win after another.
ps: this brain death animation is gross :D

Hi Davido, Interesting concept. I wanted to check it out but my win8.1 pc crashes this game for some reason :< (error message is plain "stopped working"). Pm me if there is any log file you would be interested in.

I posted link about your game on polish equivalent of reddit yesterday... and today it's on front page. I hope you won't be mad at me for galvanizing such passionate attention there, sir.
