So...anyone playing? I've watched my friend play it a few times and it seems to offer a large number of customization options for making your own classes. I bought it off Steam, but it appears I've finally found a game my graphics card cannot handle. Not used to having to examine specs.

Forced to upgrade from Windows XP due to dump partitioning decisions I made a long time ago. Windows 7 install gives me endless crashing and blue screen issues. All diagnostic software I have run says everything is fine.

Original PSP power was IMO enough. Just make it a bit more powerful but with todays hardware so it has three times the battery time.
Would probably help if it didn't use battery power when it was turned off.

Yeah, I would think it be more important to protect the password rather than the email address. Email accounts are always under assault anyway.

I mean, minigame games have been done before, its just your scenario for doing them is different. I suppose you might want to try to define what minigames you would need to play/do next.

I don't really want any more "power" out of my console, at least not graphically. All this has really done is push some artificial need for HD games with extra realistic graphics which need AAA budgets.

One of the things I worry about when thinking about development on smartphones is that my interaction with the screen via my hand will end up covering up something vital for gameplay. I have not actually tried it with this game, but it seems like this would also be the case especially after you've been playing for a few minutes and the rocks and planes and rockets are just pouring in.
I think it is kinda weird that the faces never change.

Trap doors in MGS. Even after you know they are there, there is a good chance of you walking, hearing a click, stopping to figure out what it is, and having the door open under you to kill your big idiot self.

One of my problems is that a CEO is paid X times the salary of a some other employee, when in fact, a CEO doesn't really do anything special. An engineer could do a CEO's job, albeit, poorly or not as well. On the other hand, a CEO could not do an engineer's job at all. The same with a lot of different positions. I am not really aware of why a CEO is so important or gets paid so much when its all the workers below him that do all the work AND the middle managers doing most of the management.

Telltale seem to be doing fine with their adventure games?
are you just not listening? no matter how well telltale seems to be doing, publishers (according to double fine) don't want to finance an adventure game. My point was that Telltale seems able to finance their adventure games without kickstarter. Is your argument that if Telltale can do it anybody/everybody can do it too?

I don't think anyone else is arguing about stronger economy for its own sake. The "strongest" economy is meaningless if a significant portion of the population is living in squalor.

I don't see why quality of life would be out. Happiness is obviously a subjective term, but quality of life is pretty much everything for a population.

Seems like it was just yesterday I was saying that this was the year I would get my shit together. Of course, that was actually years ago.

Your life is rapidly draining away. Every time you think about IGN's Indie Idol show, forget it, and think instead of your own game-making skills.
What skills? I have not watched the new "season" or whatever yet, but from what I have seen, it doesn't look much better from the last one. Judging a pitch for a boss or a level is just ridiculous. The ideas don't mean anything without seeing them in action. What sounds awesome might turn out garbage while a stupid sounding idea actually works when executed properly. Prototyping a game for judging is equally ridiculous when you're only given a few hours. I don't see why they don't give these people a few days to show what they can do (other than it inflating the budget for the show). None of this is a clear demonstration of the teams' abilities. It seems like the best part of the show is seeing what the teams have made in the past or what they are working on currently, which looks much better than anything they produce during the show.
