Heal is good for some fun comebacks at early levels. It's usefulness really does significantly drop down late game though. The fact that Ignite counters heals, can't be cleansed and works in all steps of a match pushes it more into my favor.

To me, it's basically always a choice between Ignite, Exhaust, Flash and Ghost.

And I will bonk the guy that mention's Rally. Bonk him/her good. Even Revive is a better choice nowadays.

Hour-long games are the exception. Most games I'm involved in last between 20 to 40 minutes tops.

Whoever was playing Singed on the other team kept on shouting about how much he would beast if we didn't use our ults, and that we were noobs because we did. 

Those are the best games.

Recently I played against an Ezreal (Lvl 30, 200+ wins) that left after 5 minutes. He came back and asked us "I'm stuck. How do I leave this match?". We tried to tell that it wasn't possible, that leaving and having to wait until the match is over is part of the penalty. He then got very angry and kept arguing that it was a stupid system.

I just didn't feel like paying twice for runes, since I wanted characters most of all when I started playing.

- If you want to try out a new character, look up a character guide on the strategy forum, Youtube or LeagueCraft.com . See what builds usually work each character. Just because Annie can buy Infinity Edge, doesn't mean she should.

- Don't spend IP on runes until you're allowed to buy Tier 3 ones.

- If enemies can't be seen on the mini-map they're probably coming to kill you.

- Try and learn in games with Ranged and Support character. Tanks and Melee are generally harder to play.

Maokai is solid. He's a tank alright, but he does nothing too flashy. Light invitation/cc with Q and W, small smart bombs with E. His R is useful but unnoticeable.

I like the IP scaling change. It increases the value of longer drawn out matches more. Funny enough, they reduced the surrender timer.

Maokai looks like my kind of character. I was saving up IP for Kennen but I might just buy him right out of the gate. He's kind of a mix between Alistair, Amumu and Galio. And that ain't not bad.

Can't wait to try out the new Coop versus AI. Hopefully it'll bring me out of custom games once and for all.

Sentinel is silly fun. Combo and juggles seem incredibly easy to pull off with Zero as well.
