I could not care less about this or the Thundercats reboot. Neither show caught my attention as a kid, so I've got no nostalgic feelings for 'em, and I wonder if kids today will care either. Then again, they ate up the Michael Bay Transformers, so I wouldn't rule it out.

I just dread the day they start dredging up old 90s properties.

As a guy who never watched the original Thundercats, I'm actually on the other of the fence. I never watch the original series. It's CN's answer to Nickelodeon's Avatar, which should be interesting if they manage to pull of something of similar quality. Plus, it's animated by Studio 4°C, who made my favorite movie ever: Mind Game.

Are you kidding me?

First of all... "MTV Geek?!" Aren't they about 30 years too late for that? And secondly... why the hell are they taking the awesomeness that was Voltron, already VERY TIMID in the action/combat department to begin with... and attempting to REDUCE the violence and combat in it?! It's not like kids are gonna grow up someday and decide to cut through their morning commutes with missile-launchers or something. Have they NEVER actually SEEN a transforming-robot action series before? o.O

Apparently, they're doing a Sailor Moon revival, too. (I wonder if they're going to infuse THAT series with MORE violence? Although THAT would make SENSE.)

It's a good thing they aren't redoing Dragonball Z. They would butcher it.

That would be silly.

Of Sorano's list I've only completed two of those games... am I doing it wrong? D:

That depends on a varied set of parameters.

Only I know the correct judging methods.

Beach Spikers
Fun arcade volleyball game by Sega for GameCube. Really easy to pick-up and play. Great mutiplayer. The presentation is horribly cheesy, but you get a few good chuckles out of it while playing with friends.

GunGrave: Overdose
Fun anime beat-em-up that oozes styles with 3 totally different characters (one completely broken in every way). Simple and effective. Completely non-sensical story about drug zombies, angels, mummies and ghosts.

Every time I want to claim Nintendo's quality standards used to be higher I remember Dinowarz and desperately trying to avoid the shitty parabolic gun power "up".

And then I remember Ping Palz being a launch title for the original DS.

What about Team Meat?

SMB is no longer coming to the Wii Tongue

But they were in talks with Nintendo for a long long looong time.Roll Eyes

Before they decided on the all-or-nothing approach.

this isn't new, it's been the case for years. nintendo only does business with indies who actually have office space and so on, not people who work out of their homes.

What about Team Meat?

do not play ap shaco.

also, do not play ap shaco.
My bad for even suggesting it.

Remember the days where item stats were applied to Shaco Clones? So you saw Shaco's stacking four sunfire capes, a pair of boots and Atma's Impaler to finish off their build.

The Good Ol'd Days.
51  Player / Games / Re: League of Legends on: March 18, 2011, 04:23:08 AM
I got Shaco but I can't really understand how to play him. He's fine in the laning phase or if I can find someone alone (who is squishy and doesn't have a stun or snare).

In team fights he's useless. I can pick off people running away on low health, as long as I'm sure they're alone. Otherwise I just go and push the top or bottom lane and then disappear and switch lanes while my team fights. Not a terrible way to play I guess, but I feel if I picked a much better character (one that would do better in team fights) the game would probably be a lot easier rather than constantly distracting. I dunno. None of the guides I've read really helped me figure out how to play his past mid game.

- Shaco is a far better jungler than laner.
- To be viable past mid game, you're going to have gank a lot, get early kills and snowball that into late game.
- Abuse Boxes as wards. Don't try and set up gank spots and wait eternally.
- Disable carries, pick-off squishies (casters and other assassins) and people at low health.
- Play as Crit/AD. You can play AP but it is far harder.

Itemization similar to Cho'Gath. So yeah, Tankish with a side of AP Items. Stuff like Rod of Ages, Sunfire Cape, Abyssal Scepter, Frozen Heart, etc.
53  Player / Games / Re: League of Legends on: March 15, 2011, 09:03:34 AM
He seems to be taking his massive nerf rather well.

Yeah, well, they upped his ap ratios pretty considerably to compensate. I don't think playing a good AP Cho with Tank items is going to be out of style anytime soon.

Gentleman Cho'Gath, you are awesome.

The game as now a total of 3 consequence free practice modes. You have got to be kidding me.

We should do a match of TIGSers versus AI with joke builds.

Me: AP Shen
Rinkuhero: Crittlesticks
Monster King: AD/Lifesteal Nunu
Nillo: Tiamat Karthus
John Sandoval: AS Sona
