Would anyone know about good Flash games that uses first person perspective rather well? I am looking into it for some research about a potential project.

your 4chan posts... er, on second thought, that might not be the best idea. Just plugging this. Also, why not play on the most dangerous surface of them all: THE SUN!

I actually want to write an article about treating metagame/theorycrafting as a feature. I know it's a lot of fun (to me) figuring out what's currently considered best and worst in large scale games.

League of Legends is free and I've been enjoying the heck out of it.
But, it's not definitely not newcomer friendly. The learning curve is brutal.

I agree that that your creatures should be more front and center. Your visual content should be unified.
A menu in the middle of the screen is probably not the best way to go about it. Try doing research on similar games that ask you to collect/control like Pokémon, Digimon, Jade Cocoon, Monster Rancher, Robopon and other similar games.

Very fun and simple concept. Well executed. Great presentation. My only small gripe would be that the transition time between puzzle and the main menu seems a bit long.

Shenmue 2 is still light years ahead of current generation games in term of content, game mechanics and the just plain scope of the world.
