I'm gonna warn you about XNA. Don't use it if you want to make a pc game. Its a great tool but the dependence on the .NET framework drives too many people away.

Hey Chevy just wondering how are you handling what happens if two players both select the same space to move to?

Thanks Daniel. As for the gameplay I'm kind of working it out as I go but so far it has to do with trapping your opponents. I'll put a video up as soon as I get a playable build working.

Hey man looks great. For my game I was planning to use the Victorian Gentleman style as well though the game play will be very different.

-It must be easy to pickup and play(no accounts, no levels)
-It will probably be turn based(no lag issues)
-It will be in flash so everyone can play(using Chevy's amazing flashpunk and player io)
-It will be 4 player
-It will involve money and lots and lots of top hats

For gm users I would recommend looking at the 39dll for networking.

I like flash more than gm for a couple of reasons. Its free to develop for  Well, hello there! ,its language(as3) is structured more like c++ with real functions variables etc, there are nice libraries for it such as flashpunk and flixel and finally the fact that it runs on all platforms really is a nice touch.
