Because it needs MORE bounciness in the animation. And it will all be disturbingly cute.  Any more bounciness would destroy the universe. I dun wanna be destroyed. ;____; And now is the plot twist where you realize that the real villain is in fact Imp and that your fate is to kill him to stop him influencing game producers to incorporate design elements into their games that will destroy everything we have ever known.

If you like twists, you should play No More Heros. wat There are totally no twists in that game, the whole game is just a parade in not making any sense, there are no actual storyLINEs to TWIST = w=;; Not that the nonsensemaking isn't stylish and stuff but there is srsly no plot to twist. It's all just the game peeing in your face if you try to make sense of it so you'd better don't and enjoy the wrestling moves : D

I want a game with good structure that kills the shit out of me and then respawns me somewhere good. Obviously this mainly applies to platformy or run'n'gun:y games, or more or less challenge games that are supposed to entertain you only for a while.
Anyways, these kinds of games ... I dunno, I just like it that they sometimes just 'Hey, you failed, go redo it faggot!' The face that that sometimes makes me turn off the game and try again at a later time is only a merit for me, since .. err .. : D Playing all games in one long huge run shouldn't be the only way to play games anyway.
I'm not arguing very well here = __=;;

JLJac: The grey girl has some severe banding going on at her chin!  See? Otherwise some more contrast on the red guy would be nice, and at the same time the black in the hair of the grey girl stands out too much imo. I really like the low-contrast desaturated look though, it gives it all a unique touch, so I say roll with it : D

How about you all calm down before I come over there and slap you about? The last two Fez screenshots looked fantastic, Fish. I really like the new style now. I kinda feel like the clouds might look better with more than one colour, though... Also, congratulations to the Fez team for getting Annabelle  Now I just wanna go wild screaming about sides that are under and stories in caves and things that are ripped off just because I wanna see some nice aboutslapping ; 3; Oh, and Bobby, it's not like you're a bad guy or anything, it's just that .. err .. it's so unfunny that people actually get angry at that joke nowadays because it just never ever stops popping up.  Don't take the raging people too seriously, heh. Also err FEZ LOOKING GOOD WANT TO PLAY ANNABELLE YAY etc O:!

Something neat you could add would be garbled text that becomes more and more readable as you get closer. When you're finally right up against it, you can read it saying something like "Behind you..." in blood. It'd be funny to see how long it would take an unknowing player to muster up the courage to actually turn around.
Anything written in blood is immediately unscary to me. NaYoN, no blood that writes shit anywhere in this game please. Blood oozing out of unliving objects? Yeah, that kind of things, if there is to be any blood. Something that glitches like it's broken AND bleeds would be a cute combination of carnal and digital damage. : D

You might also want to disregard those 'rules' sometimes! if you're in a leaf forest during sunlight, for example, both light and shadows will be tinted slightly green-ish and the sunlight in contrast will feel almost orangey when it hits stuff directly.
For drawing blood, shading orangey also takes away the signal red that makes our brains click, so yeah.
It's a good principle but you need to disregard it at times also! Always think about lighting conditions when making pictures and look at references for inspiration!

Ahuh. My friend who played it had done the first run on normal with no-combat, and this one was with combat on hard for kicks. O:
As to the nonlinearity, yeah, I know, it's just that the presentation made me want some non-run-just-chillout parts also so I could appreciate it all but whatever, that's not a real criticism.
BUT. I feel that the motivation for running from bad guys was a little ruined due to bad-guy-police-characters being flat clones (REALLY SRSLY WHY IS ALL POLICE GUYS W/O HELMETS THE SAME GUY!? I AM SO OFFENDED) and faith being a douchebag.

Benzido: NO WAI THAT CANT BE REAL why the hell would I do the vidya gaem escapism thing if the world looks THIS good? rarar.  This is japanese mountain forest graveyard, and sadly the place is much more atmospheric than the photo. Colours are sucky.
