Man, this reminds me of that horrible (by horrible i mean it as a good thing in this case / show) Nickalodean cartoon show, can't remember what it was called but it had a character that was holding his eye balls.
Look really cool so far!

By the way, is the demo an alpha demo? (or prototype, pre-alpha?)
the current demo is an extremely early version. The game right now is almost completely different. Then will there be a demo of the current version of the game at some point? Would love to try it out =3

Decided to change the player's ship to this and make it the only one you'll play as  This shot was too big so here's a mini one, click here to see the bigger picture  and taking the original ship and making it the first boss you'll have to fight. This is the current look of the first boss but will get a lot of adjustments  On a not so sure but looking nice note, I may have found a partner who'll help me and be the programmer making the game. If it's a sure thing, then development will definitely go a lot fast than initially planned =)

Hey TIGForums =) I've been interested in game development for such a long time but never really went into actually making a game, but now that just a few days ago I figured out that I can ok-ish make pixel art / animation, I thought "hey, i can probably make a game now, at least a simple basic 2D one". So here I am, not knowing when or if I'll finish this game, as a person who'll google "how to make a 2D shooter in Unity" and will have a hard time knowing how to do it, but thought I should log my progress here, and hopefully learn more along the way. So the game's name is: ObaStar A 2D pixel side-scrolling space shooter with two different perspectives. The game is heavily inspired by the cartoon/anime show "Oban Star Racer" and other 2D shooters (one specifically is Steredenn). Haven't made much yet, but here's one of the ships with the two different perspectives I've mentioned above: perspective #1  perspective #2
