It may be wrong to post this here since the games are still just ideas in my head, but here's some games I'm planning to make in my existence:

Metal Deity (a game akin to FTL where you instead control a small mech and earn your way through the ranks to pilot a 'Metal Deity' - practically an impossibly big walking robot with a crew in the thousands. Set in an alternate take on the Cold War era.)

That Sea of Neon (An extremely stylized top down shooter akin to Hotline Miami where the art is entirely white objects with neon outlines. A short story based shooter set around a team of gifted government-run 'super heroes' after they disband. The main character is blind, but sees through a special device (hence the title and graphics.)

The End of Infinity (A single player tactical squad based shooter set after the end of the universe. Takes place in space among the wreckage of what's left. Players try to survive as long as possible and keep their crew and ship patched up by salvaging from other 'abandoned' ships.)

The Soul of Eterna (Zelda-like with pacifist gameplay focused on dodging enemy attacks and having enemies fight each other.)

Derelict (A short exploration game that is about wandering through a vast expanse of snow. Don't want to say much more or it'd five the story away.)

Those are the most pressing ones that come to mind. Thoughts?

I'm looking for an indie game that was made between 2009 and 2011, possibly on a jam.
-It was a 2d multiplayer arena-ish game (up to 4 players if I reall correctly, local only)
-It featured stages with no gravity and some stages had hazards (lava, moving walls, etc)
-You had to move either jumping from wall to wall or using your jetpack
-You had some sort of shotgun or rifle, a sword that could deflect bombs, and bombs/mines that you could place on the air or on the ground
-It was a score game, and the player who was winning would have taken away his ranged weapon leaving him with only the sword
-The dev released later an updated version with extra stages, which was paid

0space! It was quite a lovely little game!

Huh, neat idea with the G! I never thought that would work, but reading the mockup it seems to be perfect!

The Last of Us (not sure if it was mentioned prior). I'd say the best way to have a moving game is to have the story - or even the gameplay to some degrees - to create attachment to what is going on in the game. If you have that, and it is done well, the player will be moved. TLoU was amazing at that with the motion capture/graphics, level design feeling like a living place, the written story and how well the VAs did with it, etc. Definitely one of the single greatest games in my mind since it is just so perfectly well rounded.

EDIT

Oh, and winter. Winter was amazing in that game. Still gives me chills thinking about it. Some of the best stealth gameplay (in an action game) I've had.

Bought it a few days ago, activated one license but now I can't get to the actual GM license from server load. Oh well, it doesn't really matter at all since this is one steal of a bundle. I'd be happy with just getting GM professional for this price, but the export module for Android AND all those source codes?! Awesome.
