Not the best theme we could have hoped for this time around but we still made a little thing and we had a lot of fun in the process, here it is: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/c-nfinement-r-m

I'm pumped to participate in this 38th edition now that I have enough free time to do so. Can't wait to see all of your amazing entries! :D

Doesn't quite qualify as "gif of game being worked on" so here's some cute cottage-feeling furniture for a little game I'm working on in my free time.

A titlescreen folow-up to my last mockup (2 posts above)

Since I won't be able to enter this edition of gbjam, I thought it would be cool to at least have some mockup going so here goes nothing.

Our entry is finally out, it's nothing too fancy since we weren't deeply inspired by the theme by I think it's pretty fine, if I can say so myself. It's called Apalis and it's a little die-and-retry puzzle platformer. Here's a link to it here: http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-36/?action=preview&uid=48996 and a bonus screenshot.

It took us a long while to search for a cool idea, in vain. So we went for a good ol' classic platformer for now and we'll see how it goes. Here's our progress so far.

Here's a little preview of the bonus phase of my One button jam entry.

Let's get this Ludum Partey rolling!! Count me in once again.

Stumbled upon a handful of mockups I made for my dream game back in 2014. If I remember correctly the goal was to get all eyes in the room shut in order to pass in the next room. Blocks with opened eyes wouldn't move if pushed.

Not much of a gif (couldn't not share the sweet music) but here's a little early footage of the game I'm currently working on.

Here are the results on our game Aether Crypt. Breaking in the top 100 in 5 categories was really unexpected and especially the #33 overall. Really improved from last time and I'm pretty proud of our Mood score. Huge props to Cynicus, my music team mate this time around. See y'all in August for LD36!

Here it is, here's our entry. It's a tiny metroidvania with some molecule-based gameplay. Didn't have time to polish it as much as I wanted to but I think it's good enough. Have fun if you get to play it! http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-35/?action=preview&uid=48996

Can't wait to play some of you guys' games, all the screenshots are pretty good looking!

Well that is quite a hard theme this time. I wouldn't get any good idea if any during the first 3/4th of the first day but I finally decided on something that is still going to be tight to make in such a short timespan. I've got a basic platformer engine with slopes and water going but there's not much worthy of showing as of now except this little idle animation.

That'll be a one tough of a jam, good luck to y'all.

I'm definitely in on this one. That'll be my 4th participation, hopefully improvement will be noticable compared to my previous entries.

Good luck to all the brave darers!
16  Jobs / Collaborations / [Found] Beginner programmer free to collaborate for 2 weeks on: February 08, 2016, 03:18:13 AM
Howdy TIG fellows,

The title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm a beginner with a fair 10 months of hobbyist programming and I've got 2 weeks of holidays (feb 8 - feb 21) ahead of me. The latest mock exams drained all my brain juice and I'm running thin on game ideas. Knowing my lazy self, I'll most probably procrastinate the whole duration of my holidays, that's why I'm looking to collaborate on a small project that could be completed in less than 2 weeks.

Regarding my experience, I've made 4 games so far, all of them being game jam entries, and I've been using GameMaker: Studio this whole time. Also worth noting that android export is a possibility as I do own the corresponding export module.

That's about it, feel free to shoot me a message or an email if you're up for the ride. Looking forward to working with you.

Gamedevly yours, Antoine.

I have mixed feelings about my entry, I'm both really proud and very ashamed at the same time. Still pretty pleased by the scores and the nice feedbacks I received.

#13   Audio(Jam)   4.36
#248   Fun(Jam)   3.51
#266   Overall(Jam)   3.59
#299   Mood(Jam)   3.48
#404   Graphics(Jam)   3.65
#480   Theme(Jam)   3.71
#536   Humor(Jam)   2.62
#555   Innovation(Jam)   3.09

Epic audio done by the great Ted Wennerström. Postmortem in the making, hyped for the next Ludum Dare.

Here it is, our entry Dizzy Dazzle is finally out, feel free to give it a shot. (It actually is more epic than the gif depicts, especially with the music.)

Here's what we got so far. We originally planned on focusing on Growing but we ended up doing the opposite and focusing on Two button controls, let's hope that ends well.
