Hey, maybe others already said that, but your trailer starts with more than 10 seconds of logos, doesn't show gameplay until 30s and is very long (imo). I think you may loose quite a bit of audience because of those reason (unless there's another shorter trailer). Looks great otherwise Smiley

It doesn't seem like you are offering a paid work.

I don't have any precise idea right now, but it's precisely because it gets tricky at 3 and up that I think that (maybe) there could be a way to do something original, probably by changing some rules in how it's behaving in your gifs.
Let us know when there's something playable, maybe I'll come up with a proposition for you if I get to try it myself!
By the way, I couldn't download your press kit on your page :/ It just seems to refresh the page.

I'm not sure revenue share qualifies you for a post in the "Offering Paid Work" section :/ You may want to move your message in the Collaboration subforum.

The telling story is a bit tricky unless I constrain the player, which is something I'd like to avoid.
Like, if you go for the intended solution, then you are like this is very nice, because you see the text in order it should appear. If you try more out-of-the-box approach, the messages might appear a bit random. still solving this. it works for like 5/10 players ussually.
Well that's exactly why I have the feeling there could be something very interesting to find with that system ^^ Maybe it would be too much work for the importance you give to the narrative, but maybe it could be a way to give an awesome and original experience!

Otherwise the website looks great.

It could be a good idea indeed to begin with gameplay, so that people not interested in this kind of game don't reach the part where we can see the team. It's very sad you have to think about such an issue, but I understand your concern. Imo it's always good to have a peek at the team working on the game, just be prepared to receive some unwanted comments (and who knows, maybe you won't get any!). Good luck!

Well that's quite beautiful Smiley

Looks like quite a lot of work! But the idea is charming, good luck!

Ok, sorry, I don't want to sound aggressive. I still find it odd that you begin your exploration of this industry by writing articles about it.

Are you trolling? Don't take it personally, but I wouldn't trust advices from someone who doesn't know about the industry's issues...

Well if you want opinions (and effectively do an effort to go away from stereotypes), you can reach to me again when this first version is done!
Anyway, I appreciate your tone a lot, staying calm and not reacting aggressively to what people say, it's refreshing.

For the "virgin lesbian fantasy", according to statistics of one of the largest adult video websites the third most searched keyword is lesbian and according to other stats, "The largest consumer group of Internet porn is men aged 35 to 49." so I would say that it's not strickly a "virgin lesbian fantasy".  Wink

But the game will include people of different sexual orientations.
There's no doubt an audience does exist for this type of fantasy. I was rather speaking about an "ethical" point of view, I fear those relationships will be represented in a very stereotypical way, the kind of way which fill people minds with wrong ideas and can go as far as harming actual lesbians. Of course I don't know what you will actually do, and either way it's not a very big deal, since I guess this game (if finished) probably won't have an enormous reach (or rather, it will reach people that may already have those twisted conceptions of lesbian sexuality).
My point is not to be rude with you, and I won't harass you for doing this, but I think that even in porn a form of morality can be reached, which can only be beneficial to all of us. (And maybe it's your objective, but I didn't get this feeling reading your explanations.)

You seem to have a great talent in 3D.

Not too sure about the virgin lesbian fantasy, but well, you're free to do whatever you want.
114  Developer / Business / Re: Presentation on Market Research From This Year's Indie Revolution Expo on: July 25, 2016, 07:53:15 AM
That's a very interesting presentation theme, about which I've already wondered some times! Thanks for sharing, I'm gonna watch this soon.

Wow, nice style! I'm especially curious about the "telling story" bit, I feel like there's a huge potential for very original mechanics!

You didn't give a lot of details on your background indeed! If you've never touched a game engine, well maybe you could start with a few game jams. Once you're starting to know what you're doing, the question may answer itself.

I have a CS degree and have messed around with a little game programming. I just have not really attempted game design yet. Even though I *could* write an engine and do have an interest in that, I feel as though in order to focus on game design you need to have a system that is well established and already solves a lot of the problems you will have without having to worry about engine code. I will probably start working with GameMake for rapid 2D and Unity for rapid 3D prototyping.
I didn't mean to write your own game engine, rather use the ones you're talking about Smiley You can't really decide to go full time without having touched one yet.

With 2-3 hours each evening and dedication, you can go quite far, as long as you keep your scope reasonable!
