OMG this looks amazing! I'd love to do some music for you if you haven't a musician already. My style is just perfect for stuff like this and I'm actually working on a traditional roguelike right now that has very similar ideas. I love how you are using sound with your AI. I also do sound design as well, I'm here if you need me! Will definitely be watching this one

Looks like a nice start! You really got that lasers flying all over the place vibe from Star Wars going. Feels hectic. I do sound and music stuff if you ever need, I'm here

Oh it just seems like FOV is at 120 or something. The hands do look like they are being held out in a zombie like fashion a little bit. I know some people like wide FOV but it's a bit much for me I think.

I think one way to pull in non-power plant nerds is to have an entire panel dedicated to a represented view of the city or town or whatever that's benefiting from your plant...
This is a fantastic idea! Something simple like the portraits you see in Papers, Please is sometimes all you need to really immerse your audience in the game. Having a super cool quirky retro sci fi soundtrack would probably also wouldn't hurt *ahem*

BTW after I first saw this post I literally booted up Stryder and it was awesome. I can't wait to play this! I know it will be it's own thing but you guys really did an amazing job of catching the flavor of Stryder, which is great because it is a wonderfully unique game that really hasn't been revisted much in other games that I can think of.

Man this looks really awesome. That phoenix magic from the mage Definitely keeping an eye on this! There is also something I like about the smaller sprites, kinda Risk of Rain. If you need some cool chiptune give me a ring
