Hi! We're looking an SFX/sound designer for a 2-3 month period to help design and implement sound effects for our upcoming game, Gestalt: Steam and Cinder! Check out the game on Steam: and Twitter: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1231990/Gestalt_Steam__Cinder/ https://twitter.com/GestaltGame.

The game is a steampunk inspired action/platformer, and we're specifically looking for someone to do combat, enemy, and environmental sounds. We've already done some of the sound effects ourselves, so we've plenty of examples to provide.

Applicants please send along examples of previous work, in direct message or to dev[at]metamorphosisgames.com.

Thank you!

5  Jobs / Offering Paid Work / Pixel Environment/Background Artist Needed! (16/32-bit style) on: June 27, 2017, 10:52:41 AM
Hi TIG! We're a small indie studio looking for a talented pixel artist to help work on environment design for our 2D action-platformer!  The ideal candidate would be proficient in pixel environment design, and familiarity with tilesets is a plus, but not absolutely required.  The game itself is an action puzzle platformer, set in an original, steampunk-inspired universe.  We've already completed a good deal of character work, please check out a small sample gallery of our current art style here: http://imgur.com/a/JW904

Job Details:

Who: Pixel Environment Artist

What: Environments and Backgrounds for Steampunk-infused pixel-crafted 2D action-platformer (environment style to fit our current character work).  We have tons of backstory and image references to aid in the design process.

When: Freelance position, to start ASAP and through the next several months. We're flexible on timing, so the job can be off and on, but ideally at least a couple hours a week for the project so things stay on track.

Pay: We're a tiny studio, but this is paid! We're willing to pay hourly or per artwork, so please let us know your rates and payment preferences.

Please see this gallery for quality references (we're not looking to directly copy these styles, but should give you an idea of the level of quality we're shooting for): http://imgur.com/a/uMiuE.

For those interested, please send a PM or email to [email protected], along with work samples.  Thanks all!
