I would never report them, he is doing it voluntary and they are doing it on a voluntary basis. No one is really hurt here. Going to the government is the very last resort, it is costly and consumes your time like nothing else.

It would be much better to just quit and get a new job somewhere else.

Heretics, Wario Land 1 is the crown jewel of Wario lands.

Congratulations, I am a programmer, you have now achieved your goal of finding a programmer...
However if you don't want to make art assets for my game ideas, I am probably not the right programmer for your adventure.

If you do not know a programmer in your social network, chances are slim you will find a programmer to work for you unless you pay the programmer.
6  Developer / Business / Re: indie game dev cooperative on: July 14, 2009, 05:23:56 AM
Only reason I could see the use for a cooperative is if a group of indies banded together in order to create an AAA-game project with all its complexity. However as that has not happen one can assume that it wouldn't be profitable to create such a project or no one is interested to band together with other indies in such a manner.

It says you have to give the source for free not the compiled software.

How is the cintiq?
I have used a Nintendo DS and my Palm PDA and from what I experienced where you touch on the screen is slightly off from where you thought you would be touching and also it is hard to draw as there is not the same feeling of resistance or responsiveness that one get from paper. I got a Wacom tablet but have been interested in how a cintiq would feel.

GPL has nothing against you selling the software yourself. It just becomes more difficult to do so. Even Stalman himself insist you should try to sell GPL software.

They have yet to release it for Linux so no more Quake Live for me until they do.

If the vote wasn't already over, I would have voted NAY. I like my friendly neighborhood Super Joe, now known as Super Joe Deluxe.
13  Player / General / Re: Indie desktops! on: July 02, 2009, 02:29:33 PM
I like to store my stuff on the desktop itself, every 6 month the desktop becomes a clean slate as I install the latest release of Ubuntu, that way I have only what really presently matters readily available. For long term storage of data I use my external 1TiB hard disk drive.

Alright, this is a very basic utterly noobish question. But I never been able to get things look alike from frame to frame, how do you do it?
15  Community / Jams & Events / Re: BIG: The Berlin Indie Game Jam on: June 21, 2009, 11:04:26 AM

16  Developer / Art / Re: tigsource draws robots on: June 20, 2009, 07:02:21 AM
I wished I was better at digital graphics, even though I got this wacom tablet... All my art is really really painstakingly crayonish(how do one remedy that?)

17  Community / Jams & Events / Re: No More Sweden 2009 on: June 19, 2009, 01:48:54 AM
Hmm, maybe I should get down there. After all it is very close to Denmark and I could sample some of the fine cuisine as well as go to Helsingborg after the event ended...
18  Community / Jams & Events / Re: BIG: The Berlin Indie Game Jam on: June 18, 2009, 04:57:44 PM
I'll definitely come... Will be fun to Jam with you all, a lot more fun and warm than the cold hard isolating northern winds we have here in Sweden at the moment.
edit: SOLD OUT!!!  Mock Anger Noooo way  Giggle
I want a ticket, anyone else not going?
19  Developer / Business / Re: What does your physical workspace look like? on: June 06, 2009, 12:54:00 PM
You all got such a comfortable places to work at... I have been developing in between customers at the retail store I am attending, for six hours a day the last year, I have been using these worn out wooden chairs for both the desk and for my sitting, giving me blisters in the ass and a few days of back pains.

20  Developer / Business / Re: Opening up a physical indie shop...? on: May 28, 2009, 05:03:08 PM
I am in Sweden, I do not need to jump though all legal hoops and fees you have to in the states. Though that doesn't matter, I am not going to start this venture at all. I got no market where I am(Town with about a population of 40k people) and I got no money for rent anyway...
