I'm really sad about this. I feel a weird sense of regret. It's silly. I just wish I had the chance to tell him how much i loved his art.
I don't think it is silly. It makes sense to me. His work had such a huge impact he may as well been some instructor hiding behind every page or book of his I looked at. And it is logical to want to thank him for every line and idea that was inspiring. If I can live to accomplish a tenth of what he did I will be happy.

I just heard the news that Moebius (aka Jean Giraud) passed away. He definitely has had a major impact on me as an artist and he will truly be missed. He leaves behind an amazing body of work thats sure to continue inspiring people.

I imagine a scene in a Wes Anderson film with a character playing this game...
Sorta, but Wes wouldn't put an iPad in any of his films. I think.
I'm not ... This game stands strong on it's own and is totally unique. It just was there in my head and I wanted to tell you.
I will leave now.
This seems like a compliment to me given I really enjoy Anderson's films. Maybe he could have it displayed on an old PC monitor in lieu of the iPad. So thanks Peanutbutter Shoes! Also I did an interview about this and the studio: Interview with iFanzine.com

without wanting to sound like a big meanie, which is actually my specialty, how many actors do you have, and are you playing the main character yourself? because you have this really nice presentation, and it's obvious a lot of effort is going into the sound mixing, but that one line of dialogue really just sounded like a guy and a headset mic
Oh really?

There's still space for one or two more if you'd be interested... I do sort of need the commitment to try and play the game all the way through though (about 3-6 hours) and to answer a few questions based on the experience. If you'd be interested, let me know, cheers!
It's very nearly there guys!!!
Whats the platform for this? I am up for testing it if I have the right device.

dont want to sound like an ass but i'm going to sound like one anyway
don't you think you should wait a bit more before posting your next project? just to make sure you are actually going to finish it. it seems you pick up a new project daily and then tease us, only to trash it in the following days
this is a thing that has been happening for a long time now
There are two ways to look at it. • Starting a lot of Devlogs may create a habit where you are not focused and finishing one project. • Starting a lot of Devlogs is a way for you to air out your ideas to your peers and get feedback. You can then focus on the one that has the most potential and come back to the others later when their concepts and mechanics have been refined more. But in the end wether a person has 1 or 100 devlogs they need to be capable of finishing what they start.

CEDE, you (/we?!) seriously need to make an another-world type game with your illustration style...
I am, but I don't have a programmer yet. Seriously. I even have it written out into episodic arcs.

ha! that's awesome. but little do you know, practically none of that stuff made it to the final game. and not, not february. but soon! Yeah, I really just like that older concept art. I guess I was more into it than being accurate. :face palm:
