Thought about it some more. A more approprate term would be "endearingly dorky."

Oh, and suggestions for stuff to do is still much appreciated.

I want this.

and then I'll move someplace with snow just so I can use it everyday.

How much do you sell it for?

I need all of these.  Put these up on Etsy.  Please. Tears of Joy

My current line of thought is to auction them off for charity sometime this fall/winter, although I guess I could part with one or two of them earlier if you're in a hurry. drop me a PM and we can discuss it.

Wanted to add in one more "awesome comment" because this deserves it.  I can't knit and I cant even begin to guess how much time and skill it must take to make those tiny little graphics with knitting.  Amazing stuff I hope you sell them and make some money off them.

Thanks for the comments, people  Gentleman

... Another not-so-indie (or even very original) creation, but it is reversible so you can show your mood (or current level of intoxication) without bringing two hats.

as awesome as it is, you REALLY need to get back to making them indie themed... but it's still awesome

Dude, these things are the greatest. The Quote and Curly ones are just beautiful fantastic.

How long is it taking you to make these masterpieces?

It varies a lot.

I could probably swing a pair of socks in a day or two if I worked quickly, but patterns with lots of colors (like the Cave Story pair) or patterns that are large take more time... Also, I only really knit while watching TV, so projects usually span from a few weeks to several months...

... Oh, and I still need ideas for motives.

Might be impractical (the sprites are abstract and a bit unclear), but a pair of socks with the guy from All of Our Friends are Dead and the protagonist of Au Sable would be wonderful.

I second Star Guard. You could knit a whole scene thanks to the simple shapes and colors.

Something a bit simpler.

That is awesome.

Thanks, people, I had had considered Star Guard earlier but completely forgotten about it. Not a bad idea, actually.

As for AoOFaD and Au Sable, I don't really know enough about them, so I will have to get back to you on that one Gentleman

As I said, I kind of doubt they'd be practical. The sprites are abstract and might not translate too well to knitted form. But still, Kiss amazing!

Star guard. By popular request.

I wanted to knit the logo on the inside so it could be reversed for another pattern, but I had gotten too far when the idea occurred to me. Next time, I guess.
