Liked: The world rotating was nice I suppose. Shrug

Disliked: The longest I lasted was 20 seconds, but mainly I was killed instantly by the Flayer god thing. I tried all the servers but got the same, insta-death. Am I doing something wrong?

Conclusion: The 20 seconds I saw seemed ok.

The world is a live world, so if for some reason a god monster ends up at a spawn point, it can reproduce.  However, the spawn points rotate periodically, so chances are if you try again now you'll be fine. Smiley

As for dying immediately... I've only had that problem once when sticking around to try and recover loot from my corpse.  If you pick a direction and run off, you should be fine.  I also find it easier to play w/ the alternate control set, which you can get by pressing the o key.

Hope that helps! Been playing this game more than anything since its first release and still love it. Tongue

Hi everyone!  We just posted build 73 of Realm of the Mad God over at

The build consists mainly of balance changes and monster population fixes.

We've also been hard at work on our first big expansion: dungeons!  We plan to show them to you soon, maybe next week.

Drop by our forums and let us know what you think of the game.  Thank you for playing!

Amit Patel, who wrote the map generation code for RotMG, just blogged about it:

Congrats to Ivan and Bitworld!  And congrats to the Mad God himself, Oryx!  Awesome job guys!

Also HUGE thanks to everyone who voted for RotMG and helped to make it better by playing it and giving us feedback.  RotMG is so much better because of you.

We just launched build 74, which contains our first major expansion: dungeons!  Have a look at:

Thanks for playing!
