So just for fun we're resurrecting our old, old first attempt together at a game. Warning, it's quaint and primitive and the features are slowly being added in as time permits.  Cool

The first KrabbitWorld game.
Right now you can just select your character and walk around.
Can't name or color them yet.
Multiplay chat is up.
Warp Drive is in.
Half Dragon toons added.
Type /help for tips.

We've moved 2D KrabbitWorld 2000 to our gameserver for multiplay. The chat is now enabled. Characters have their names above their heads, coordinates are now printed in the upper right box and when you enter a new map, it prints in the chat window.

The combat maps which we'll bring in sometime soon are more of a pseudo isometric perspective rather than the current world top down view.

It's kinda fun bringing this old thing back online after all this time. We dropped it sooo long ago when we began to learn 3D as inspired by Summoner.

It's a porting Work in Progress...
- programmer got this much done in less than 2 days, rewriting from C to Java for browser.

There's quite a bit more coming with animated portals, warping to coordinates, combat maps with pseudo isometric view, combat, more races, weapons, spells, sound, homescreens with furnishings just to mention some. Should be completely ported in about 2 weeks.

There's some server tightening up to be done as well as more GUI. Thanks for checking out the initial stages.  Gentleman

Free to play 2D KW2000 client, server, web page up  here ready to play. Instructions, maps up.

You can now register your username and save your characters. Guest accounts coming soon.

Features implemented so far are choice of 5 races, multiplay chat, movement with arrow keys, explore 5 maps, warp to coordinates, warp another player to your coordinates.

Type /help for tips.
Type /who to see who is online.

Other listed (on new web page) features coming soon.  Cool

If you tried to log in earlier but were met with an error, do not despair, for it has been eradicated! Apparently Windows didn't like the title 2D KrabbitWorld 2000 (specifically for the pop-up window) so we have changed it to simply KrabbitWorld. Mac didn't seem to mind.
