What is it?

Rage Effect is a free multiplayer online fighting game that you can play inside your browser.
It a small idea which expanded to a whole game, all thanks to flash 10 and it's new service
called Adobe Stratus.

The game itself is something that you can play anytime without having to worry about the lvl60 paladins
waiting for you to have your ass kicked. Play it from your work, school, cybercafé or any place which has
a PC and an internet connection. The game itself is less than 300kb !

What do I need to play?

You will just need the latest version of flash ( you may already have it installed ), either way you can get Flash here !
Then all you have to do is press the big red "play now" button ( No registrations required ! )

A simple table of skills

Warrior: Strong
[indent]Special: Double Jump[/indent]
[indent]Sword: Fast; Makes you hover in air.[/indent]
[indent]Spear: Short range; Powerful charge (greater range as well)[/indent]
[indent]Shield: Blocks most damage can do a harmful push.[/indent]

Assasin: Fast
[indent]Special: Teleport[/indent]
[indent]Shurikens: Fast and deadly; Can charge up for more damage but shortens range.[/indent]
[indent]Gas bomb?: Stuns the enemie[/indent]
[indent]Katana thingy?: Short range, good for melee.[/indent]

Mage: Hard to forking catch
[indent]Special: Fly

Fireball: Can shoot many small balls with minor damage or charge up for massive.

Lightning: AOE damage

Force Shield: Shoots the enemies away from you. (cliff edge + this *hint*)[/indent]

Wow , great, another ripoff of Soldat

Heard that many times, but honestly I made this game before even knowing the existence of Soldat.
We just both got the same idea for the aiming mechanic , that's all. And also No , he didn't invent that game mechanic.

By the way, can you play Soldat from your browser, eh? =P

Yes, I'm new to this forum but it doesn't mean I'm gonna leave
anytime soon, just wanted to share my creation with the rest of
the indie community =)

I knew this forum was a bit deserted but not like this

Feels like a mash-up of Teeworlds, Soldat and GunZ. I like it!   You should set up a scheduled event we all know when we can get on at the same time and play together!

Also, wrong forum, bud.   This is for collaborative project ideas. This belongs in Announcements, Feedback, or perhaps DevLogs.
