This thread is for a game that will explode in two.

Also the actual name is not megu mang...probably...
We just have no idea what it will be.

This is a game that we're constructing in our free time as an off assignment for our programming class. We are currently going over networking and thought it would be cool to make a networked game.

So here's our game idea in awesome conversation format:
ME: "WE MAEK GAEM THAT HAB CO-OP AND IT BE GREAT!"
OTHER DUDE: "MAYBE WE MAEK LIEK MEGAR MAN BURT CO-OP?"
ME & OTHER DUDE: "WE BEST. LETS FLEX."

And so came our awesome logo.

(I made this ten minutes ago just for this thread.)

So far we have some super basic movement stuff going on.
We decided to learn a new language and a bunch of new concepts along the way just because we can...so progress might be a little slow.

We're both programmers and I'm additionally an artist so we'll so how that goes.
For now I'll leave this mockup that I've been working on in order to get a graphics style for the game.

(Who is the protagonist? Nobody knows!)

Any comments/ideas are welcome. Should I leave the characters as silhouettes or should I color em in.

Definitely leave as silhouettes.

Okie dokie.
Experimenting with making silhouette enemies. I'm just wondering how I'll be able to pull off large silhouette bosses. We shall see.

Visible updates are probably gonna be slow as I have to go code the actual game as well.
