Hello, TIG-Source-Forums!

I wanted to know whether you know more tracks like this one from REZ:

I mean tracks in general, for example bands or other games.

In addition i want to know which KIND of music this belongs to so i can search for more similar music by myself.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

The second part sounds like very simple Buttrock Goa except the distorted bassdrum.
Take a closer look at this: http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/
Trance -> Psy  -> Buttrock Goa

What particular things do you like about it? The propulsive, repetitive nature, or the production style? If the latter, I don't know if I can help too much, but if the former, much of trance and minimal techno should fit the bill.

Yeah, this is definitely in the realms of minimal techno and trance. Much minimal techno nowadays is much "softer" though so you just have to go through a lot of searching.  Blink

Basic Channel perhaps?

Also, some Japanese techno? How about Ken Ishii, whose music is also in Rez?

EDIT: Scratch that, this is what you need: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJLwF5fjLzk

I thought Drill & Bass was like, late Aphex Twin and stuff like that.

What's he been up to lately, anyway?  I haven't heard of any official releases in quite a while (though I think I heard some "he's got a new alias" rumors at one point).

That would be The Tuss, which I haven't listened to much, but it sounds like it's probably pretty good, and it definitely sounds like Aphex even if it actually isn't.

I read this some months ago, though: http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2009/03/17/new-aphex-twin-album/

That Rez track is definitely NOT Drill'n Bass. Maybe IDM, but NOT Drill'n Bass.

The Tuss sounds a lot like the Analord series of EPs, might even be from the same sessions.

Also, Kekskiller was spot on with Psytrance/Goa. "Rock Is Sponge" is by a Japanese psytrance band called Joujouka. Here's their Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/joujoukajapan
