I wonder if it's too late to start my Gamma4 game? Ummm...

If I get it done then that's the provisional title.

[EDIT]

The game is now released on my homepage.

Thanks, I will try!

I have it just about 100% planned and working lovely... in my head.

I just have to translate it into reality from the lovely pictures in my brain.

...in 2 weeks or less...   Screamy

Game engine is functionally complete and now working on the mind numbing title screen, etc.

Game name changed to We Love Laser.

It will be playable by any number of players 1 to 4 and have optional cpu players to take place of people not playing.

Hopefully fun and frantic. Not the most arty or stylistic looking game so probably won't be picked but I'm having fun making it anyway. Smiley

Really looking forward to this one, Caff. Crack on, sir! Plus if it doesn't make it, they'll always be a home for your new one-button games here: http://www.oneswitch.org.uk/2/switch-downloads.htm - in large part thanks to Retro Remakes and 9752AD for massive help with the hosting.

Good luck!

Thanks Barrie - as long as a few people have some fun with the game then I'm happy.

That's what gaming is for in the end, after all. Bringing a little entertainment and pleasure, and maybe a little rivalry too. Smiley

Hopefully not too confusing title screen is completed with instructions and options.

It's funny but I think the title screen has more code than the game. Wink (not really but it looks like it should have.)

I haven't added any sound (should I bother for the Gamma4 entry version??) and need to do a "game over" results type screen just as a big of a transition because it goes straight back to the title screen at the moment. The results of the previous game are on the title screen but still it would be nice to have something between the end and going back.

Sorry for waffling, just thinking out loud.

I'm not sure exactly how much fun this game is and it's a little overbearing if you play it one player without the cpu opponents, but fingers crossed that it gets enjoyed. Smiley

Ok, it's released. I haven't added as much sound as I would have liked but never mind.

I hope someone enjoys it.
