"A classic indication of an amateur game is using a game maker tool of some kind, such as Neverwinter Nights, Adventure Construction Set or RPG Maker."

...and game maker or blitz3d? so i think they both are "amateur" thingies...i've never saw those two aspect of being indie, also if i dinstinct freeware projects from indie software houses such introversion or moonpod

Weren't all of Croshaw's games made in Adventure Construction Set, or something like that?

I liked those games more than most every professionally, commercially published game I've ever played..

I like amateur games!

Therefore, I'm an amateur gamer! Or something like that.
