Gamma Ray's my favorite band, followed by Manowar, Therion, Edguy, Iced Earth and whatever else good there is.

If you like BoC, you *really* should check out Redpoint I think Redpoint consistently rocks harder than BoC.

Yuss, love Therapy?
Infernal Love is in my all time top 10 metal albums, and Andy Cairnes is up there on my list of "people I've called a cunt whilst incredibly drunk". I'm not sure if the latter is anything to be proud of though.

That is something to be very, very proud of. Please remember tell your grandkids that - he's such a cunt :D "Infernal Love" was the first Therapy? album I ever heard, and I think it's great - but my favourite is definitely "Suicide Pact - You First". Favourite album ever, that is.

I don't usually use OMG in any context, even sarcasm or making fun of people who do use OMG, so this is the going to be the first time I ever use OMG in anything ever...
But OMG! I just found TV on the Radio and they're ossum! It's just so great. I am bereft of utterances.

i moderate montreal's big forum about everything indie. id say half the people i know have something to do with the scene. i myself really like post-punk, shoegaze pop, glitchy electronica, goth rock and "indie rock".

Hehe, I was waitin' for you to post in this thread, Mr. Fish... (After reading you were a part of the Montreal indie music scene.)
Can you get more specific? I'm not good with genres.
Wire? The Fall? Pere Ubu?
Maybe up to Pavement? Spoon? What about The Rapture?

I come from a house in which CDs cover one of the walls completely so I really have my music taste broadened. I listes to almost everything - from classic, through jazz and good ol' rock'n'roll, to modern alternative and trip-hop (lately). Music is one of the things I need when I'm working on a game. Without it I couldn't focus at all. The bad things is that I tend to sing with my WinAmp .

When I listen to stuff I mostly listen to hiphop, which puts me in a different category than most programmers, yay.
