Radix! You just got a mention on FBI Radio. Virtual Vices. Also mentioned you playtesting in a room of sleep-deprived coders. Sounds boss. Haven't had a chance to play yet, but that video is amazing. EDIT: Added linky to the podcast, if you want to hear it. It's like, 10 minutes, and you get one or two at the end. It's the one about, uh, worst tech ideas. Though GNILLEY was totally unrelated to the rest of the topic. Heard it on the radio this morning, thought I should notify.

First error:
Error --------------------------- Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: DLL load failed: The specific module could not be found.
Kind of a shame too, trying to show it to friends, tried on three different machines.

I'm feeling like it might be a 64-bit thing.
Except for deadeye and allen which might be a python thing.
Still figuring it out. Un/fortunately it's only affecting a minority.

Thanks, but you probably got an initial error before those two started looping.
(Let me know if I'm wrong, but still...)
If anyone's having errors, please post the first message. It'd help me out.
You're right! This is the first message: --------------------------- Error --------------------------- Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.
--------------------------- OK ---------------------------Windows 7 64-bit

I wonder how much different Aquaria would have been had we used our voice... *grabs a can of nitrogen for those high tones*

Except for deadeye and allen which might be a python thing. Well I do have a dual core, but... uh... I'm only running 32bit XP

Yeah and you guys got a different error message too, right? Edit: Under Win7-64, running the game as admin made the errors go away. CONFIRM/DENY

Yeah and you guys got a different error message too, right My first error says: Traceback (Most recent call last): File "<string>", line 1, in <module> ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found. Which is the same as unsilentwill.

Evan (celluloseman) and I played it last night. Pets add a new dimension to GNILLEY. Next time I'll get her to help play.
Edit: fixed the link

I did a similar thing once with a tetris game where you moved the piece by moving left and right in front of a camera and spoke into a microphone to turn it.
There was an FFT graphic in the bottom right that made it look like it was analysising what you were saying as opposed to just reading the volume.
So we lied to our first play-tester and told them it was callibrated to the word, "bollocks".
Cue a dancing man with Tourette's syndrome.

The first python issue is probably indeed due to python already being installed on the system. I haven't checked up on the Construct forums for months, and everyone is pretty nebulous about what exactly the issue is, but I think Construct screws with the PYTHONPATH in a way that assumes it's the only Python install on the system.
Also, the 64 bit issues might be due to construct packing in 32-bit python DLLs. Just a guess, no real foundation. If you have access to a 64-bit machine try to build the game on that.

This game is very fun. Actually, maybe it's been more fun seing you present it than playing, but still this is what the GGJ is all about... Gnilley it's like 'the perfect game for a GGJ'. Congratulations for all the hype!
