Wow! I had no idea this competition would produce so many awesome games!

Here's my entry:

War and Peace is a one-button 2-minute game that replicates the major game mechanisms found in Civilization.
As in Civilization, you have to choose carefully which technologies you research, when to build up your cities and when to be more aggressive, depending on which kind of victory you're shooting for (conquest, domination, or spaceship). You just do it with a single button.

[slowly learning TIGForums' etiquette]

My game wasn't selected. You can find it at the above address.

Hey nice work, I know a few kids that might like this one, any chance of a multiplayer in the future?

Thanks Smiley
I hadn't planned on it. It's not coded very cleanly because I did it in two days. So, it would require a lot of work to make it multiplayer. An appealing notion, though. If I make another version, it'll definitely be an option.

this one was real fun, until it ground my computer to a near halt at the end. also, it seems really hard to actually win a game, both times I lost due to the computer getting a spaceship victory.

I almost want to see a version that plays itself, as a antfarm kind of screen saver game.

hah, there's an idea for the next gamma contest, no button games

Go for Research and Growth for as long as you can before acquiring Power. This is not the optimal strategy but it should help you get better results.
Good luck Smiley
