Hello TIGSource!
You may remember me from the 100-in-1 Klik & Play Pirate Kart that some friends and I threw together for the B-Games competition a couple of years ago.

Well, good news!  We're doing another one!  And you can help!

The rules are simple: During the weekend of February 27-28, make as many games as you possibly can.  Don't worry about quality, or polish, or anything else that keeps you from just slapping your random raw ideas into a game.  Think of it as a game-making party, rather than a competition.  Spend a maximum of 2 hours per game.  The use of Klik & Play is encouraged, because it's so easy to produce terrible games quickly with it, but games made with other tools are happily accepted.  With your help, we will make 371 games in 48 hours!

Why 371?  Well, with TIGSource stubbornly refusing to do another B-Games competition, I was having a hard time finding an excuse to make a shitload of awful games in a single weekend.  Then I discovered that the Global Game Jam, which also takes place over a 48-hour period, produced a measly 370 games last year, with over 1600 participants.  For the last Pirate Kart, I rounded up 17 people in two days and we made 105!  In a fit of hubris, I decided it would be easy to drum up enough people to beat the Global Game Jam.  It doesn't seem like that much more impossible of a goal than 100!

Then I did a little math.  My friends, we need everyone we can muster if we want to hit 371 games.  Even if you can only find a couple of hours that weekend to toss together a single game, that's better than nothing!

See The 371-In-1 Klik & Play Pirate Kart II event page on Glorious Trainwrecks for more information, and to sign up to be reminded by email before it happens!

Remember: FEBRUARY 27-28.  Be there!

Awesome! I loved that game(s) back in the day (in fact one of my votes went to it). I can't wait to see what people will come up with. I would make something but I have been pretty slammed lately but we'll see. I can't wait to see what is next for the Wario Ware of indie gaming :D

This should probably be moved into 'Announcements'? But yeah, this'll be totally awesome.

I know it says we don't have to use KnP, but do we have to use KnP?

I will most certainly contribute something to this endeavor.

If only KnP could work on 64bit computers; alas, most of your work I won't be able to check out.

This looks fun. Can I just join the IRC channel on the day-of to participate? Or do I need to sign up on that website?

I will also be there, making some games. AND SOME OF THEM WILL BE GOOD GAMES.

(and some of them might be bad games too)

We're glad to have you!  And though it is roundabout solution, Klik & Play and games made with it will run under Windows 3.1 running under DOSBox.

I've been meaning to do some glorious trainwreck klik of the month games for a while now, and this seems like the perfect way to start off. Count me in.
