That certainly helps to develop a feel for colours / give your eyes a nice workout and all, but Itten's book actually explains why it works like it works and turns the "feeling"/"I like or don't like" into exact science since it explains the principles behind the perception. By grabbing screesnhots from a movie all you get is results which are then hard to reproduce and the process is prone to frustration. (Although of course it helps to have a reference.)

Since the colours are never perceived in isolation, a food analogy probably isn't out of place :^) if somebody wanted to study a famous master chef's recipe... despite being an obvious requirement, would eating lots of his/her cakes be enough to understand the secret behind the fantastic cake?

A interesting point, though i think of de constructed enough you can still learn a lot and get inspiration at the same time.

EDIT: Looks like its kind of average haha. I messed up a bit in the blue to purple.

Can't get better than perfect.
Of course, the test is as much a test of your display setup as it is of your visual ability. I took the test on a very nice monitor, which helped me a lot.
