This weekend, I got struck with the urge to do some casual programming, just for fun to play around with. Sat down and started on a simple asteroids clone. A few hours later I was toying with the movement of the player and found another direction for the game.
In short, I present you "Reverse", in a extremely crude form. I'm just posting to see what people feel about the mechanics. And perhaps post your best time for some bragging rights
. The goal is to make a reverse at each of the goals. Misses gives penalty to the score. The screen edges wraps around, so there are no borders.
So any feedback will do. I'm really interested in how you would like to see the mechanics evolve. Considering I started with a asteroids clone, it might go into another direction again. First post on TIGSource btw ^^
