So I set up a forum for us:

http://blandsaft.forumer.com

Go on and register! Wink

I'm going away to London this weekend so I won't be able to do much but I trust this will take time anyways.

Just go ahead and start telling your friends. I think it's just a matter of getting a bunch of interesting people together and things will start to pan out.

If anyone would like to moderate the forum please tell as it would be great to set those things up as soon as possible.

I hope to see you over there! Smiley

Edit:
I'm going to London now, I'll be back monday.

And remember, if you live in Sweden (or closeby) then SIGN UP!

Also, tell your friends.

I have now registered on blandsaft!
(I got my password sent back to me in plain text. That doesn't seem very safe.)

I study programming at su/kth and take the subway by S:t Eriksplan a few times every week. If something organized pops up I may join in.

I also have (at least) two people in my class who are interested in game-related projects. One of them wants to create web-games using the new HTML-5 canvas element. (Screw Flash, we say!) The other one is a a MMO-freak who has insane long-term plans.

Unfortunately, no, I can't Smiley. When I try I get this:

But getting through all these little teething problems shows we have the determination to make things happen Grin.

I was able to post with a new account, the only ones that couldn't post were guests (which got that message you quoted) but I've unlocked that now.

Anyone can post now.

Great, I'm glad quite a few found this at least a tiny bit interesting!

Now I'm going to go hunt for some artists/musicians/jackofalltrades, any hints about where to find these creative beings (I know there are lots of people here and they're all welcome to join, but it would be fun with some people who haven't worked with games)?

My first place to look will just be among my own friends but I will probably have to expand. I've said this before but try to invite your friends along if you think you now someone who'd like to participate.

We could (/should) have microjams, where we meet up at either someone's place or at a café and just relax/talk/dev some. I'd be in for that! Grin

It would be cool if swedish gamedevers that live abroad, like myself, could have some way of participating in all of this creative sweetness.

The forum is a good start!

Of course! There's nothing excluding more global events. You could still find people to collaborate with over the internet as well. Smiley
