Wow, what an utterly fantastic week. Props to all of the IGF winners, drinking buddies, and everyone with the balls to do their own thing. You rocked my world!
My favorite night--or maybe just the only night I can remember, because it was most recent--was the evening o' fourties with the crew. Glugluglug.

Yeah, man! Many thanks to Flashbang for providing at least 92% of the awesome at GDC. That night with the fourties was epic.

20 hours of liquid tiger awesome every day for the past week. Sleep? Weaksauce. Running into that Mega64 guy, I have also confirmed that they did not read the " I'm so indie..." thread. Or at least that's what they said...

The Montreal International Games Summit is November 6-7. 2008, and hopefully there'll be another Gamma party there ...

I had an excellent time, too! It was awesome to meet all you folks! I've even made a forum account against my better judgment, which I'm sure will be to the detriment of my productivity. ;) I'll definitely never forget the birth of the Brass Monkey as the indie drink of choice! My face in profile here pretty much sums it up:

What did Indieshark do with The Owl? The Owl has returned to the great beyond, from where it watches over us all with its all-knowing all-seeing eyes. Since it no longer stays with us in form, it has created IndieShark to carry out its earthly duties. They comprise mostly of telling people of the awesome things in life, like TIGS and the GDC that TIGS attended to. In its free time it likes to eat EA employees on summer vacation. Love the Owl, fear the Owl!

Another legend says The Owl rides IndieShark into battle... His armor is made from hardened TIGERSauce. Also: EYELASERS.

One Christmas I asked for nothing but Battle Beasts from my family, hoping I'd get one with a Sun on its chest. I never got it.
