And I'm bitter and jealous of you for it!

I don't have a gamecube, so I never got to play the sequel.

'Taint a sequel. It's a port! With added awesome, apparently!

Unless there's also a sequel of which I have not, until this moment, been made aware of. In which case, I shall go out on a killing spree RIGHT NOW (02:43:56am GMT) until I have it.

I had Seaman!

I got the things up to the tadpole stage! But then my memory card got corrupt and lost everything!

I lacked the will to go through everything again.

I love my DC, and I vowed never to buy another console after it was pronounced dead... unless Sega re-enters the hardware market, of course.

As for homebrewed games, that's not really my thing, but I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Senile Team's Beats of Rage yet.  I always kinda thought it was that sort of grandaddy homebrew that made the DC famous for that stuff.  And of course there are hundreds of mods of that game out there.

The only other DC homebrew that I played a lot was somebody's port of Kenta Cho's Noiz2sa.

The first console I ever bought was a Dreamcast. Sadly I got mine when it had already been discontinued Sad But I got a great deal and some kick ass games, and Bleemcast.

I was actually thinking about buying one the other day, well it was between that and a PS2 (I want to play Shadow of the Colossus really badly again).

Heh, the only two Dreamcast games I have are Sega Bass Fishing and Sega Marine Fishing (and the fishing controller, obviously).

Oh, and Ecco!

I don't count some ATV game that came with it (still unopened).

I had seaman, Skies of Arkadia, that one tanks vs aliens game that gathered a cult following, Crazy Taxi, Slave Zero, and presumably a ton more that I forgot about! OH, and also, I had EGG! Elemental Gimmick Gear. I don't care what you say, that game was freaking AWESOME.

We need more games like EGG. Oh man. The nostalgia. It's swelling inside my head so badly that it's leaking out of my nostrils right now.

Slave Zero was pretty neat, too. It played out like a really bad Sci-Fi movie.

OH OH! And I had that one submarine game! The one that played out like those old Wing Commander games! Oh man, THAT was the most amazing game EVER. The boss-fights were amazing!

Speaking of Wing Commander, I also had Starlancer.

Yeah.

Dreamcast had a ton of gems. It's just too bad they haven't been ported to other consoles so they can get bigger audiences.
