People seem to be pissed off to hell when I share small, unfinished games and make a huge layout... I'll do in nevertheless! I need some happy feedback people  Sad

Well, here, have the whole topic anyway!

Godly rules

Brief description

There's a small level in front of you. Reach that ugly green thing.

Warp back. Notice you're vunerable to spikes! You weren't vunerable to

them alst time... Oh well. Once you reach the green portal again,

you're weakened and cannot jump that high. And then spikes start

falling, from a slow to a fast pace... And blocks start breaking when

jumped upon.

Basiclly, it's the same level all over again. You gain levels and your

rank changes, from Recuit to Divine angle. You start going weakened

and more challenges come. Will you survive the ultimate fitness

challenge for a gamer? Will you survive agains a god?

Quite a few problems I've found with it:

1.) The horizontal movement is too slow, and so is the vertical movement - it may just be a problem with the frame rate though.

2.) The graphics are bad - really bad. As in, seriously bad.

3.) It's annoying - having the rank completely reset and all the rules get reset as soon as you die once is incredibly annoying. Probably wouldn't be so bad if things were sped up a bit.

4.) The idea has been done before, and this doesn't have a nice presentation or story to make me want to play this over Tower of Heaven.

Thanks for the feedback. I assume I could accelerate it up a little bit, and instead of dying instantly, you could have 3 lives - Being hit once would just warp you back to the beginning. As for story, I'm not sure - I could add it though.

You don't really have to do a story, just the presentation could be much better. Like not having instantly going back to the start of the level after you reach the goal - as it stands, that doesn't really give a nice feel to it as a small pop-up or sound between level changing in a normal game. Even a simple black fading screen with a small sound would make it a tad more fun.

It's a nice concept. I second not going back to Newbie rank after dying once. The graphics could really be improved. Try some character animations at least.

The level designs could vary or if you don't want that, they could start out really complicated, but without affecting the character until later.
The beginning jump is A BIT too high.

It's possible to land on the corners and not be able to continue forward without first going back.
Also, 'Prohibited' is misspelled.

Love the idea! I know every thing is temporary placeholders right now, but I think you should try and make the text easier to see and shorter; gamers don't like reading while playing Tongue As far as general feedback goes I would hope you are making more than one level if you want this game to not get repetitive really fast.

I hope you're able to find a good artist.  It's sort of hard to play in the state that it's in right now.  Although the music is in fact awesome.  And the gameplay seems to work.

Since the idea's been done before, why don't you try changing it up in unique ways?  Tower of Heaven, though great, didn't really go all that in depth with the concept.

And use a different font please.

I'll probably add a new version soon, with a new font and a text system to display the text in a way better way having them fading / etc - Maybe along with other updates.
