Okay Actually seen the 17mn footage of zelda alltp2, looks way better than alltp dungeon and idea are actually clever and well integrated, plays greatly with the vertical despite top down gaming. Visual looks better in motion too. I think a "new zelda bros" make more sens than in a mario, it could be that, just ditch story and focus on gameplay and leave story for high end zelda!
weren't they already doing that with the DS games? from what i'm seeing in this video it actually looks a lot like them too.

o and also phantom hourglass was a "sequel" to wind waker. im starting to see a pattern here.
huh?
I wonder what's the pattern:
Zelda 2 is a direct sequel to zelda 1
majora is a direct sequel to oot
twilight is a direct sequel to oot (and majora)
wind waker is a direct sequel to oot

oot is a sequel to skyward sword
zelda gb is a sequel of zelda 3
zelda oox is a sequel to zelda 3
etc ...

I find the fact that Game Freak, known for creating Pokemon, made HarmoKnight, amusing.

Anyway, I just bought a 3DS XL recently. It's pretty good.

drowning in lolis

also i named them all after league of legends characters that fit the same archetype so i wouldn't have to memorize more shit

i just got subclassing so i'm playing around with my setup a little, but atm i'm running:

1. landsknecht (op dps and debuffs)
2. nightseeker/arcanist (poison all the foes, deal massive bonus damage from nightseeker passive)
3. fortress/dancer (idk)
4. medic (the passive heal after battle thing is the only thing getting me through dungeons)
5. runemaster (idk if i like this class that much)

i avoided using a fortress though a dedicated tank sounds pretty useful now. how are they?

dancers are my favorite so far.

all of our characters' mouths are open

the fortress taunt/lineguard skills are really good if you want to run a bunch of squishies focused on pure offense; it also makes healing a lot more manageable/cost efficient

Waffle's expression suggests abject terror at the thought of going back in that dungeon again.

new team:

landsknecht/runemaster : link attacks do more damage with runemaster's element buff; the free energy ability is also nice on the mana hungry landys

nightseeker/bushi : dual sords now have two bonuses (double attacks per turn, and also more damage just for holding two swords)

fortress/dancer: p. strong; the fan dance dodge passive is really good when i'm taking hits for the entire team

sniper/runemaster: basically i have runemaster subclass for the tp bonuses/free energy

medic/arcanist: it's good i guess

Normal really is way too easy in Fire Emblem.  Starting over.
How does the dlc work?  Haven't seen a way to get it yet.  Do I need to do more missions or something?

If you want to do TRUE DAMAGE OUT THE WAZOO in EO4, get a Sniper/Bushi.

Lock On + crit on abilities + dual-wielding bows + Charge + Blood Surge + Silver Arrow/whatever floats your boat = A loooooooooooooooooot of damage.

Hell, Bushi's by themself can do a ton of damage. I haven't used a Nightseeker yet though, but I made a Bushi/Nightseeker solely for the "skill may activate twice" thing. So gooooood.

I'll also note that if you get Swordbreaker on a Landsneeze and put a Fortress on the same line [or spec the Fortress into Landsneeze for Swordbreaker] and then get Guard Mastery and the heal-when-defending thing, you basically get an unkillable machine. It's beautiful.
[Also get Bandage if you do Fortress/Landsneeze. Fortresses have infinity TP if you get their ability to regen TP when hit.]

so what's the difference in forge options? i'm looking at agi, but then i see spd. one of those directly affects a stat i see in a menu, and the other doesn't?

i haven't unlocked bushi yet, but that crit machine sounds like fun.

i wish i could swap portraits around. i'd rather do arcanist/medic because medics seem like overkill at this point, but arcanist portraits suck. also fortress is kinda boring, but i wanna use that whacko purple haired guy.

I got Gunman Clyde two days ago, and beat it with all three characters on all difficulties yesterday.

I also got Tokyo Crash Mobs, and I'm still not sure what's going on.

So it looks like BestBuy and Amazon are having a little sale on 3ds games.

I couldn't really find a comprehensive list, but most notably I guess are:
Mario 3D Land for $30
Mario Kart 7 for $30
Fire Emblem for $30
Zelda: OOT for $30
Castlevania for $25
Paper Mario for $25
and best of all Style Savvy: Trendsetters for $20

Edit: Best Buy list
