Finally had a chance to read it - no computer at home.

This is truly an epic work. Well done, comicompoers!

EDIT: Also, great work, pencerkoff. I wasn't really sure where to go with my page, but you did a great job of following it up.

EDIT2: Gamecid, I want a Squiddy plush animal!

EDIT3: PoV, great stuff as always. I love your art style.

Mike your page rocked dude!  I didn't even know we were both participating in this:)

Hey Derek!  Thanks man.  Yeah, apparently I'm a veteran (Page 36). Wink

As usual, your artwork fraking ruled.  I hate my lettering (first time ever using Illustrator).  Good times. Smiley

I dunno if you and Mel are planning on attending GDC, but there's usually an art night many of the TIG boys and girls attend where they crash a Denny's (and by crash, I mean fill to capacity without warning the Denny's crew).  More good times. :D

Mel and I would love to attend GDC!  We just have to see what kind of ground we can make with Halfbot.  Cramming a Denny's for an art night sounds awesome!  It reminds me of my days at comic con:)

Yeah we might have to change venues for that next year based on the current growth of the indie game dev count at GDC.

Annihilator Beta wins for the phrase "In-squiddy-fact"

Also:
Favorite character was Squiddy.

I thought I was the only one who drew octopus and called them squiddy, hehe. Because of this the blue baracudas were my fav.

How about we get to see the last 2 comics next time, so that story makes even more sense?

I think we've had this discussion before, and I think it wouldn't be a comicompo if it was that way. But it could be interesting to experiment.

Also, is there no cover art for this comicompo?

Yeah, there are lots of indies at GDC.  Our Ludum Dare meetup was on the busiest evening of the show (number of events, I had 3 listed that night), and we still had 20 people make it.  Since then "LD the event" has exploded, so geez, we might be a GDC behind needing to figure out a proper venue too.  Eek!

For sure.  Best of luck dude.  At the very least, we definitely need to get the London crew together again for a lunch.  Try not to get another parking ticket though. Wink

This comic is infinite.  There is no beginning and end.  Therefore there is no cover.

Since the two dimensional pages loop back into each other, the cover must of course be three dimensional in order to envelope them entirely.

Hello this is Pencerkoff

How can there be another one when the last one ended so fast?  By tradition we must wait another year at least.  When it does come around though, I will be ready with Microsoft Paint in hand.

I'm thinking about organizing a two-parter. One part for writers and the other for artists. Sorta like an assemblee comicompo. Probably won't call it a Comicompo, though. What say you, comicompo fans?

I like that idea, but a small test should be done with a few people in secret to determine how it should work.

Also I would want to do both.
