With the text-boxes in there and the general noir (I'm sorry, Rockstar games, "Noire") ambiance it oddly enough makes me think of one of my favorite game series' "Max Payne".

The game does have a Max Payne feel to it.  One of sub-concious references that I had while making this game along with Under a Killing Moon and Police Quest 4.
