I'm going to seriously try to get Medieval Shark Strike Force done for the deadline, but I'm not making a thread until I get at least part of the way through, because I have a terrible competition track record.

Jeezum Crow, I go away for a day and come back to two and a half pages of entries? It's like a manbaby jamboree out there. I'm going to seriously try to get Medieval Shark Strike Force done for the deadline, but I'm not making a thread until I get at least part of the way through, because I have a terrible competition track record.
Same here. If I have a decent amount of work done in a week and it looks like I might have a chance of finishing, then I'll post my entry. So, in what percentage of these that will actually be finished/done at all do you guys bet on?
I have a feeling that at least 80% of the entries posted are blowing their load way too soon. Then again the B-Games compo had a lot of entries, so who knows?

I'm loving this competition. And TIGSource competitions in general. It's much more fun to make a game when you aren't so worried about how it'll turn out. I'm basically making things up in mine as I go along.

I am learning so much Actionscript... At this rate I might take on a trickier game title after I've done my first one (which is crap), like "John Romero's Jetpack Mayhem!"
Oh wait, that's already been done. It's called "Dangerous Dave". :D

It really drives you to work on a game when the title is Sleepy Ninja Man.

I can't decide. Apathetic Yak Trader, Communist Cheese Onslaught or Emo Arcade DX? Or y'know, Naughty Elevator Machine. Also, this contest transcends awesome. I registered purely because of it.

"Holy Tetris Boy" "Musical Kangaroo Dynasty" "Jedi Bimbo -- Collector's Edition" "Exquisite Pirate Restaurant" "Flamboyant Basketball Invaders"
They don't know who struck first, people or the machines... But I think it was the machines.=)
EDIT -- "Infinite Transvestite Hunt". Hot Damn!

Ah, I see.
So this is what happens when I actually pay attention to school and not visit the forums...
A new contest.
Ah well, sweetness.
I shall see what fate the VNG has given me...

I don't know that there's any guarantee that a Linux only entry will be judged at all...

By the way, it says "beginning to end" in the rules. Does that mean it has to have a concrete ending besides "death"? I was hoping mine could be a bit more open-ended, but if not, I'll think up some way to concretely end it.
