Hi,

I'm looking for an audio processing library for a project. I need to be able to load files and *analyze* them. Preferably works with MP3s. Do y'all have any suggestions of libraries to look at, or at least how to describe what i'm looking for so that google will play nice with me?

As a point of reference, audiosurf.

thanks!

@hexageek: I'm looking for 3 things: beat detection, being able to analyze different feels in different parts of the song (maybe through change in tempo, or pitch, or otherqualities, and being able to detect hits.

@kvjoshi: Yeah - I actually asked someone I know, and I just ended up at aubio. I've got it set up on my computer, and while it sounds good from the blurb on the site I've got no idea where to get started with it. But if it is what it says it is, then it is just what i'm looking for
