Hello!, In a month I will be heading to a big event, ( Apple WWDC ), I hope to try to network with some people, and maybe some other indie game devs! I was wondering what's the crucial information that you would put in a business card? I thought: 1) Company Name 2) Website 3) My Name 4) My Charge ( Lead Programmer, Founder, etc ) 5) e-mail Anyone has suggestions ideas ?

I was wondering what's the crucial information that you would put in a business card? Depends what your card is for. The only thing you absolutely must have is your name and email address. That's what my card looks like because its purpose is to enable people to contact me. If your card is also some kind of marketing tool then you might want other information as well so that someone who has no need to talk to you but wants to take a quick glance at your product has a way to do so.

Well I think Business card is a for marketing of our business. There should be some thing that every people can catch to us :
* Name of Individual. * Name of Business. * Address. * Phone Number. * Email Address. * Web Page Address( Web Site). * Little Description of Business. * Logo.

Blank space, for people to take notes on.

I agree with leaving space for notes.
I'd also suggest taking into consideration who will be receiving your business cards. Will they respond to art? Or will they respond to info? Is there a way to balance both? Are you looking for customers or business partners? If you're looking for fans, include links to all your social network sites.
Chances are, whoever gets your card will throw your card into a pile (or rolodex) and "re-stumble" upon your card sometime in the future. Maybe include a small block of text about who you are and what you're about so that they can be reminded of you.
This is from the perspective of someone who primarily works with small local non-game businesses.

I'm attending www.animayo.com this weekend (an animation festival in Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain), where we will talk about game development, specifically for iPhone. I prepared a silly card, not too serious, with this on one side: and our logo on the other side X) However, I changed the 'function name' to something like Digital Interactive Leisure Programmer. Not too serious, certainly...

haha, very cool concept. Thanks for sharing it.
I decided for something very simple, and kinda stylish.
A friend is making the design for me, so haven't printed the cards just yet... Will show something as soon as I get it.

Hey guys, in the end I opted for something simple with a little Sprite in the back of the card I live in Chile, so I don't care about Phone, Address, nothing. Just email website and twitter are key for me. Hope you people like them ( they look a lot better in paper though )

Personally, I think the black ones are more attractive.

I ended up printing 100 of each. Saw the color test last Friday, and both looked nice, so I thought it could be a good idea to print both of them, and let people decide which one they like more in paper.

I preferred the light ones in the first image, but when actually printed out, the dark ones look really nice, too. If people want to take notes, the light ones are obviously the only good ones, though. I think those are more stylish as well.

What vendor/etc. did you use to create your cards?
Or was it just some printing service, maybe?

It was just a printing service in Chile... for the next time I think I will use something On-Line, I think I can get higher quality cheaper.

... Wait a second. Your keyboard has no labels on the keys? Not that people who have used computers enough really need them, but... Why?! Please tell me it's just the light... on every key... in both pictures.
