UPDATE:
I've released the source code. Feel free to make crazy!

ROM CHECK FAIL
Some games are born great.
Other games have greatness thrust upon them.
ROM CHECK FAIL takes great games and thrusts them upon each other.

Sometimes it works.
Sometimes it breaks.
All times it's awesome.

Enjoy.

I've pretty much taken the theme of the compo by ignoring the N in VGNG and building a VGG.

So, will it actually create a random game based on three criteria?  Like, choose a background, choose an enemy sprite, choose a play style, and generate levels?

I play'd a web game like that once. Only it weren't random, you chose the play style, the enemies, and the arena. Was fun though. This looks even better.

I wouldn't say that it will create a random game based on three criteria, I'd say that it does create a random game based on three criteria Grin

There's an extra dash of awesomesauce added to the mix, but that's a surprise best left 'till the first time you play it.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a shitload of games to blend together.
Any requests?

This has the potential to be my favourite game ever. It's like Wario Ware cubed.

Haha, awesome.

Qix is already there, as is Mario and space invaders.
I was considering swapping the space invader player character with the one from 1942, but maybe I could go raiden instead.
Bomb Jack made me think Bomberman, which is 110% perfect for this game.
Breakout is kinda in there in Arkanoid form. A bit.
Putting tetris in the game is an idea which breaks my head.
Lemmings: Awesome.

Any more ideas?

Yeah: Wario Ware  :D

Or, perhaps: Joust!

edit: To be honest, though, if you've already thought of Qix, then I know this is going to be 120% awesome. So carry on as you wish :D

So you can probably guess where this is going. I've pretty much taken the theme of the compo by ignoring the N in VGNG and building a VGG. No need to disqualify me for that, right?
Right?
 Undecided

I can't disqualify you with a mind that has been completely blown.

Carry on, good sir! Kiss
