Is it just me or is Rom Check Fail being hyped like crazy?

Of course it is fun but people are handling it as if it was the new indie game grail.
I hope I don't get flamed for this one.

Oh awesome, thanks Akatosh! Also Kyle I really don't think a retro gaming magazine counts as mainstream Smiley

I wouldn't worry about the over-hyping BaronCid - It's just a flash in the pan. I don't think anyone believes it's the best game ever (Cave Story). People have a little bit of fun with it, but it has no longevity unlike other games (Cave Story). It won't be one of those games that makes top 10 lists every year (Cave Story Cave Story Cave Story).

I need to make a note on that too. SuperPlay (from Sweden) have made two covers from competitions here at TIG. Both B-games and the VGNG competition.

They gave your game a good review and mentioned the word "mindfuck".

Would love to but I don't have a scanner or a working camera, so I can't. Hopefully someone else from Sweden sees this.

DUDE. Enter this into the Retro Remakes 2008 competition. It'll be perfect for the 8-Bit Mashup category.

Ta but nah. Games for the RR compo need to be made exclusively for the compo, so you can't just repost old stuff.

Also I think having won VGNG is enough.
(But don't quote me on that)

I feel like this idea is unfinished, but I fear legal action may ensure if I keep on it. If you don't share my fear then you should go totally wild with the source code which I just posted here. Gentleman

Enjoy!
