Gameplay / Graphics Programmer

Giant Sparrow is a small indie developer working with a major publisher on The Unfinished Swan, a first-person painting game set in an entirely white world.

We're looking for a senior programmer to work primarily on gameplay and graphics tasks, but also in other areas as the need arises.

We're focused on creating surreal and otherwise unusual experiences and we’re looking for someone who wants to be a part of that.

Desired skills:

•   Strong generalist
•   Some interest in graphics
•   5+ years of experience in games
•   The more games you’ve shipped, the better
•   Current-gen console experience
•   Interested in rapid prototyping and mechanics people haven't seen before
•   Physics programming would be nice
•   Experience with Gamebryo would be nice too

About the job:

This is a fulltime job and we’re located in Santa Monica, CA. We’re a tiny team (4 developers, plus the occasional contractor) so everyone wears a few hats. Benefits include health, dental, and a 401(k). We’ve got an indie ethos even though we’re funded by a major publisher.
