Hi
I made a game and published it at Flash Game License. I got a too low bid of $100. I ask for more and the sponsor is asking how much.
I have more than 2 months working on this game. It is a new take of brick breaking, well polished game and it has an addictive gameplay. We have received good reviews from developers and previewers.
The features: -New gameplay never seen before -Different kinds of Bricks, enemies and Powerups -Cool old school graphics -16 levels full of fun -Original Soundtrack and sound effects
Video:
I don't know how much to ask for this game, but I do know it doesn´t cost $100.
What do you suggest?
Thanks in advance.

100$ is really cheap!
Evaluate the work time for it, then see how much it cost you to live this time!
If I were you, I would have asked at least 2000€ for that.

Ask him for ~$700 if you didn't work on this full-time

How much he worked on it means absolutely nothing on Flash Game License. If the game is good (and gets noticed) it will sell for a better price. My advice would be to keep all business as public bids so that if your potential sponsor does offer higher it may renew interest from other sponsors.

Naming a price for the one sponsor who's already bid is not really how FGL works. Chances are any sponsor who's opened on $100 has only a small budget and so may not even be able to offer you what the game's worth.

Yeah. I would definately say that this game is worth more than 100 bucks.
How long have you had the game online? I've read that you should give it, at least, 1 month to receive the right amount of offers from sponsors.

$100 is either an opening bid or just a bid for a different type of license from a buyer with a very tight budget.
I wouldn't go below $3'000, if your game is that unique.

The game has 3 weeks in active bids.
I'm talking now with the FGL team to get some recomendations from them.
Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah the FGL is not the instant riches maker that some people make it sound like. Most people who get nice sponsoring money there already had previous contacts in the flash industry.

100 is way way to low. The game looks nice, I hope you get higher bids soon. Good luck and tell us how it went

Hey, Just to try and see if I can help, Did you try to contact sponsors directly? As a reassurance, I'll let you know that this game has made around 35 times more than your current offer. And that is not to say that mentioned game is bad it's just to show you that even games with low content and niche genre can get more than your first offer.

I think your game is definitely worth more than $100 Ask him for ~$700 if you didn't work on this full-time
I think $700 sounds like a decent price.

that would take me a day or two to make myself The core game might take a day or two, but my the time you've got the thing polished and completely ready for deployment and handed all the tedium related to the sale it will have taken you two weeks at least.

Way more than 100 bucks. I'd say 1000-1500 is a fair price, you did spend 2+ months working on it and it looks pretty well polished!

Are you serious? It's a regular game, and he said he worked for two months. Two months! That's nothing!
